WTF does everyone of my posts need to be approvided by a moderator!? I have been a member for several months? Do people even get notification if your post is not approved by a moderator? Jeez there is really a "Big Brother" feel to this site

It it possible that the posts don't have to be placed in this newbie forum? I had one post that was moved out of here and into general discussion because I was no longer considered a newbie.
there are some social group discussions that have moderated posts- they tend to be in the private section of the social group.
They don't. Did this one need approval? If so, then you may have a glitch from the upgrade.
I see you've made posts to the Ask The Veterans forum. Are those the posts you're talking about?
Those posts do need to be approved by a moderator, because they are intended to only be seen and answered by Veterans - thus the title of the subforum. So they are kept private until they are seen by a Veteran.
ECF is no more Big Brother than any other forum of its size, subject to the amount of spam that it is. You posted to a specific forum that is moderated to ensure that you get answers from Veterans, like you wanted to.

This is a large forum, with over 45,000 members and over 7,000 active members. If management didn't keep a close eye on things, there could be a lot of chaos on here. This forum runs pretty smoothly, with little conflict. If it takes "Big Brother", to keep it that way, that's fine with me.

Yeah, what happened to this forum, we are supposed to be learning all kinds of things about e-cigs etc., not language !!! lol.

It would probably be a good idea if you went into a bit more detail, since your posts do not have to be approved by a moderator. If they did, nobody would have seen this thread.
What exactly is the message you are getting? Do you get it every time you post something, or only when you try to post in certain places? Details like this would allow us to help you. Complaining does no good if you can't provide details.
If you're talking about posts made in the Ask The Veterans forum, I suggest reading the sticky threads in that forum to find out how the forum works.
