I had to order some.....Have some EKOWOOL silica on its way (here tomorrow)......I wanna compare the two types for rebuilding Kanger Pro tanks and Igo-L's...

Let us know how the two compare. I have used the xc-116 and like it but have never tried the ekowool and am curious as to how it stacks up.

How well does the xc "hold up?"

Could I expect the silica to outlast the coil at least? Was hoping to be able to replace the kanthal before the silica needs to be replaced.

The site would not accept my e-mail address for registration, the site would not allow me to "Continue as guest", even though the credit card I wanted to use, is listed there, I tried, again, as a "guest" and it would not accept my credit card. Sorry Tex. Its no sale to me....I guess you just don't want my money. I'll keep waiting for someone else to have this product who wants my sale and then I'll buy.

Was your shipping address and billing address the same? If so it should have worked!

Sng vapor also sells this stuff when it is in stock. You can sign up for an e-mail notification. The xc-116 holds up quite well, it cleans up nicely and doesn't get that nasty taste when dry burned like silica does.

I got some of the 1/32 version too. I've been really loving the regular. Yes, I torch the peas out of it and recoil with fresh Kanthal. Cleans up like new, no flavor. Got the skinny version to try something that silica can't do . . . .



BTW. this stuff wicks great in vertical setups too. (got it in my Micro-Gen)

Used some 3 mm Ekowool on my new Igo_L rba....both arrived in mail 30 minutes ago.

Put a 4/3 wrap of 30 gauge kanthal on that THICK 3 mm Ekowool and its vaping fine, coil is 1.4 ohms.

(airhole on IGO-L is a bit smaller then I like tho, tight draw)
