Xecig???

I'm not exactly sure what model an xecig is, but usually when you first get an ecig the atty has factory primer on it and it tastes pretty bad. You can just vape through the taste if you want. It should get better after all the primer has been vaped off. Or you could try blowing your atty out to get rid of the primer. Blow into the end that connects to the battery while holding a paper towel to the atty. When you get no more liquid, add 2-3 drops of e-liquid to prime it and vape away. If it still tastes a little funny add one more drop. It is kind of hard to tell though not knowing what model it is or what supplies you have. I hope this helps.

I'm new to this stuff, so i probably don't know what I'm talking about.

But judging by the "step by step" pictures, it looks like a JSB-L88B model (i think?). I have a blu, which is the same model..or very, very similar at the very least. I've never had to do any primer puffs with it. Maybe it's the fluid that came in the cartridges?
