when you click on the search box in a thread, there is a drop down box that appears, it has a thing to check to
search the thread
search the forum
is that what you meant? Dunno bout the coupons, I was wondering about that the other day, searching for a particular vendor.

That was somewhat what I was looking for...thanks. As the post subsequent to yours points out, there are no search terms other than user name.

...having trouble with the Quote here...

There is only one that I found, however "You" must be in that specific thread and it is only for finding the Author of a post in that thread or forum only . . . Otherwise if Ya' are looking to do a search on a topic or using words (similar to a Boland Search) that is not available for thread searches, unless you use the advanced mode and doing a general search via a specific "Forum"/"Sub-Forum" in the "Tree List" provided . . .

Yes, however, I find the supplier I'm looking for is not listed in the Tree List. ...now I see that while I thought they had a berth in the forum, they apparently don't. Thanks.

The TOP of the dialog box is the general search terms. The other stuff are qualifications (username, title only, this forum only, etc) You may need to check or uncheck options.

There's also a [more...] button for a whole new page of options.

  Well - Hopefully, "You" will make an exception and be able to use a pair of "Blinders" to shift though "My" Wordage in the future when and if Ya' continue to read any of "My" post . . . ;)

Oh - Sweet "Cindy" . . . "You" of all people did not offend "Me" at all (AND - BTW: It would take a "Heck" of a lot more then that too) . . . Nor - Did "Judge Dredd" for that matter . . .

"We're" ALL GOOD ! ! !

Right - "Judgy" . . . ;)

We're all good, my friend. :)

Why aren't the likes displaying in all of the threads?

I'm reading back, and threads I know I gave a like to isn't showing, yet there is a small link to "unlike". So it knows I liked it, but WHERE ARE THE OLD LIKES????

By way of example.
Triton Coil Complete Rebuild | E-Cigarette Forum

I liked this first post. And I know many others did, too.
they get stuck in limbo occasionally ;) make sure the bottom of the post shows 'daveono likes this'
if it does not hit the like button which now shows 'unlike' one more time and it should produce the bottom line. no idea why the process gets stuck halfway but i have seen it happen quite often :?:
Hi, Tibs. Thanks for responding, but..

No, it does not show the old likes. It will show "Daveono likes this" after I toggle the like. But I have no clue as to am I the only liker? All other likes of posts before the change are hidden!!!

Regarding coupons...is there a simple method to search for a coupon for a single supplier?
If I'm understanding you correctly, click on Coupons in the top menu bar. Then click on Stores in the menu line right below that.

That'll bring up a very long list of stores to choose from.

For those of you that are using Firefox, there is a cool little add on called Color That Site! :: Add-ons for Firefox . You can change any of the foreground and background colors on the site, the contrast, brightness, etc. I find it extremely useful.

There is a simular add on for IE, but unfortunately I don't know what it is called.

I hope this is helpful for some of you.
This addon worked beautifully!!

I think what they meant, and what I'd wondered about is, can you somehow search for a specific supplier. We use to in the old one, but it was weird to get to. say I was ordering from RTS, I'd like to search to see if RTS has a coupon available.

Even when using the "Link" button in the Reply...I can't seem to be able to post an Amazon link.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known "bug" that will be fixed? Or...is it by design (for who-knows-what reason)?

Test link...

Manually made link..
Amazon Diamond Necklace

Link option from menu...
Amazon Diamond Necklace

I made one manually first and then I used the Link button on the second one... both work but when I just posted the url the first time I tested... it came up as a media link that was blank
