It takes the smaller size 16340...same size as the cr123a's. The 16340 is used in tandem with a "dummy" battery for 3.7 volts because the tube needs 2 battery lengths from top to bottom. The 18650's are too wide to fit - the xhaler is pretty slim compared to some other mods, ie SB. Anyway, I'll rarely vape on this thing at 3.7 so, to me...no biggie. The 2 cr123a's with a tight cap for 5.0 volts is awesome for me. S/H was $7.00. There's also 2 adapters available: 510 and 808. I am using the 510 and it rocks @ 5 volts!!!

Would be nice if the description of the battery would give the size. Hopefully someone will be able to figure that out.

a 17670 is 17mm wide by 67mm long appx.... a CR123a/16340 is 16mm wide by 34mm long appx....two Cr123a/16340's are 16mm wide by 68mm long appx.

Does it seem like there is a mm of extra space in the Xhaler for a very slightly wider battery?

Damnit DREW! Make the Xhaler a whole 1mm wider! lol.. Well, seems like it could be close enough for someone to try.. may even beable to take the plastic coating off the battery and make it fit lol. Or with a special bit shave the inside a hair wider.

Now that i'm looking it up....Some websites list the RCR123a as 16mmx34mm other list it as 17mmx34mm

I just ordered a couple of the 17670 batteries so i can test the Xhaler when it comes in...hopefully if CR123a's fit so should this...going from 880mAh to 1800mAh is not bad....thas a Nice all day vape

Funny this should come up because Ive been thinking of increasing the size of the body to handle the 18650 but I have to keep the bottom small so all the parts will still fit the originals with an adapter ring for the atty caps... Then all anybody would need for the upgrade is a new tube...This battery could be the answer...I will be on the phone with Battery Junction in the morning!!!

I like that idea, I would buy another one (which I was thinking of doing anyway) but if it can include the 18650 battery along with all the other batteries, that would be great. I like to see how that other battery the guy was talking about (forget the number-1800mAh) if it work I will get some too. But Yeah Drew I say go for it, hope it could work out, being able to have different body sizes or a companion for your XHaler.

Are you calling an asking Dimensions? Please let us know if you find out if it will or won't fit...
