Xtar 18650F 30A Batt

Just wondering what is the chemistry of this battery, is it ICR IMR or a hybrid. Wanted to buy this batt because of the good review of the xtar charger but no reviews yet for the batt

I can't speak from experience, but it sounds like a Sony VTC4 based on the listed specs which would make it a Hybrid.

From the research I have done these are re-wrapped Sony cells(Most likely the VTC4, specs match), the only difference is that Xtar has modified the topper on the positive side to be a button top or flat top with their own positive topper before heat shrink wrapping their wrapper on it. This would make them the only 30A sustained button top battery currently available.
