It's so funny how people like different "draws".
In my case, I'm always taping or jamming up the hole for a harder draw.
For this reason, I'm worried I won't like the new style battery, but I'll know soon enough.

Yeah, I'm starting to think we really need to keep both types. It would make inventory more of a hassle, but there seems to be too much of a divide to just go one way or the other.

I love how easy to draw my new regular auto battery is. But if possible, is there a way to adjust future batteries to have a slightlier more sensitive switch? With such the easy draw, sometimes it's not activating the battery and I really don't like to use the manuals. If there's not a way to make the sensor a bit more sensitive, I could adapt my vaping technique and draw hard at first and back off during the draw. But it'd be great if you could.

It's a little thing

Remind me when I'm awake to talk to you off-forum about that. I think there's a solution makes everyone happy and is trivial from an engineering perspective (and that might be enough to clue you in... :) )

I have 5 shorties, 6 regulars, and 5 XLs. Although, each battery in its length category is not exactly the same as its brothers, in general I have found that the longer the battery, the harder the draw.

Of course, the draw is determined solely by the size the the "draw" holes. But apparently, the hole size is, in general, smaller for the longer length batteries. Or, it just happened to come out this way for me....

I just started using an extra long automatic VL4 battery and it is awful even with new VL4 cartomizers. I am so disappointed!

The draw is like sucking on one of those little straws you see on a wd40 can!!!! I feel like a damn vampire sucking on a neck!

My other kr808 batts work just fine. The xtra long one does not have a notch in the top part (screw in part) and that is the problem. Unscrewing the cartz does not help.

Are all the xtra long batteries like this?

Am I doing something wrong?

Let us know in your next order and we will replace it ;)

For all of my autos, the ones with the air flow notch on the battery post have a lighter draw and are quieter than the autos without the notch. I miss the notch, seems like they've been phasing it out and I don't get why.

I miss the notch too. My regular auto that I bought during the V-day sale has tiny tiny holes. So i had to drill them out to be bigger for more air-flow. I wish the holes are bigger or the notch would come back...

We are evaluating slots versus no slots, bigger holes versus smaller holes, and all variations and combos. We want our next batch of batts to be the ultimate batts, and aren't taking anything off the table just yet.

Good to hear. Opinions are like battery-holes, everybody has one. Some people seem to prefer tight holes, but personally I don't like my holes too tight - you have to suck harder and longer and also it can be a little noisy which upsets the neighbors. But having a good slot seems to go a long way towards improving the experience. Just remember, before sucking you should take off the condom and pull out the .... plug. Sometimes I even leave my top off and pull out the diaphragm, then I just drip. You know what I mean?

OMG that is hilarious!8-o Do you sometimes have to reach around to screw the battery on tighter too?

And this is the first post I just happen to read while checking the forum and eating my lunch.......
