the Passthru is Hands Down the winner of this challenge.

It seems I have to Draw 3 times harder on the Xtra Long Manual Battery than I have to on the Passthru. It's beginning to "Hurt" my front teeth.
I'm pulling too hard to try and get the same hit as the Passthru.
Is there anything I can do about this. Same cartomizer & a charged battery, still can't get a "Good Hit". I've tried unscrewing it a little, screwing it on tight, covering holes. Just can't get much air through it.

Thanks for any help, I'm only a week into it!

Monkey Arms have you ever tried one of the shorter purely automatic Batery and how would you compare the extra long to one of those?
I don't even have an extra long but I never had the problem your describing, the shorter automatic bat doesn't even seem to have to require THAT much of a pull.
I do know with the Auto batt the less you draw ( extreamely lightly and slow) the better the vape hit the passthrough kind of bypasses that. give that a try as well and let us know:)

This is not right at all. I've got xtra long batteries and they are so powerful they ALMOST compare to the passthrough on a full charge, not quite though. Mine hit so hard that I hardly have to draw, extremely easy draw, the vapor just starts flowing into my mouth. I can't even begin to imagine having to draw that hard, but you say you are trying to get the same hit as the passthrough, even though it's not going to be quite the same, it should still be a beastly strong hit on a full xtra long manual battery.

Maybe I'm a lightweight, but I went from a 6volt mod and wasn't disappointed with the VK, even the smaller batteries work well for me, so I don't know what's going on there.

Then again, some people don't think 5 seconds is long enough of a cutoff on the batteries, but it's way more than enough for me, I can hardly deal with 5 seconds.

Even so, you should not be hurting your teeth in drawing on any of the VK batteries in order to get a decent hit. Even the small manual battery works about as well as an analog for vapor and draw, for me.

I have a thought about this. Have a look at the top of the battery, where the threads are. See the four tiny holes? Now look down at the top of the battery, in the valley around the post. Do all the holes go all the way through? I have one on which not all the holes were drilled all the way through, and finishing the holes improved the draw immensely.

Both of my manuals actually sizzle the cartomizer audibly, just like the end of the draw on a passthrough. Yours should do it too.

Yeah, I have the Automatic, the Xtra long battery, & the Passthru. They all outperform the Long manual battery. It also lasted about 6 hours today. Maybe I just got a "bad" one! It just doesn't have enough air flow to produce much vapor...

Just request a new one in comments section, remind me to pre-check it, and walla, you should be grinning ear to ear.:p

Have you tried a different carto (different strength and flavor) with the same result? Just to elimate the possiblity of a bad cart? If you have tried other carts on it, then on your next order, put in the comments section about the bad extra long battery and he will put a new one in. It should definately not be hard to draw.

Mine do too, I love that sizzle. :)

One thing that I didn't see mentioned here is that some carts are not compatable with some bats. Everyone should be made aware that either the cart or the bat/passthru must have a grove in the center ring to allow for airflow. None of the batteries and passthrus that I have purchased from V4L have the grove. Some of the carts that I have purchased from other vendors also do not have the grove. If you try to use a "no grove" bat with a "no grove" cart, you will get no airflow.

That is a good point, thanks Lambolover!
