Xtreme Vaping Custom Attys

I got some of these recently and did notice that the carts are shorter than the others I have used. I assume these can only be used for dripping. If I wanted not to drip I would have to use a different cart, right? Anyone with suggestions about using them would be a great help.

I think you'd just have to put some kind of filler in the dummy cart that comes with the atomizer.
You can drip with a blank cart, pre-filled cart, drip tips or just tail-pipe it (bared-... atty).
You cannot drip with a cartomizer (carto).

I believe XV is in the vendor forums... XV is highly regarded around the DIYers

The dummy carts only have about 1/16th inch to insert into the atty. Others have 1/4 inch plus, maybe 3/8ths. It seems that they will be too far away from the bridge to wick.

Ok I get what your saying-- So basically, unless you chop down your atomizer you'll be needing a new cartridge... if you don't want to drip.

I e-mailed Levy at XtremVaping and he replied that it is a dummy cart. It is only there for looks and only good for dripping. Thanks for trying to help 7thCabal.

You cannot drip with a cartomizer (carto).

I drip on cartos. I know several others that do, too. I'm just sayin'

Drip on cartos? You take the cap off, drip and vape? Do you put the cap back on or leave it off?

Take off the white cap (and clear silicone ring if it has one) Do the initial fill (I drip it in but others use the condoms)
Then put on a drip tip and every once in a while drip in 4-5 drops.

I have heard of leaking problems if you try to use a drip tip and only fill it when it needs 15 drops or so, So I do it more often.

So, you leave the white cap off, you have to, I guess. I have not had any leaks so far. Where do they leak from? I am going to try that right now. I just happen to have an empty carto in front of me. I better watch the video again.

What i've seen for dripping on cartos is removing the poly and dripping on the coil inside. leave the sleave around the wire in there. don't uncoil the wire as you pull out the poly. DO THIS AT THE RISK OF DEATH TO THE CARTO!

They will leak out the bottom if you overfill.

I don't take the poly out. Just remove the caps. Tried that, killed one, so I leave it in. It wicks well, so I just leave it alone. Got several that are coming up on a month old (tho I rotate about 4 flavors a day, each in a different carto)
