xvostick clone any owners?

Hi mgmrick, would you mind sharing how you improve the ground on the 510 plate?

I just placed my order on this "clownstick" with 3f and hoping its problem-free or atleast preparing myself on the known issue with the workaround.

I believe I have the latest and greatest version, at least for a few more weeks. I run in wattage mode and found from reading the directions on the Evolve site that there are a couple of things that can be turned off to disable the atty question.

I still get the check atty question when it won't fire and snugging the atty down usually clears it. I don't crank everything down as tight as I would like to because of the possibility that I may have something on my GEM come loose when I take it out. It would be very hard to get the bottom pieces out of the Xvostick if they loosened before the 510.

I haven't checked for the orange charge light, but it mine does go from red to off. It may go green for a bit, I just haven't seen it yet.

The screen on the bottom doesn't help since I usually look at it when something is wrong. I'll try and pay more attention to it to see if I can spot issues in advance. It does seem to react and show things very quickly compared to my dna 30 which takes a little while to catch a new atty and adjust the Ohm's reading. I have noticed this morning that the Ohm's varied slightly the first few pulls when I put the atty on. Probably just me not getting everything tight enough because after 4 or 5 pulls and a slight twist it was back to reading what it has been on that tank.

I did notice things tasted a bit flat below half on the battery screen. The battery was about 3.6 when I pulled it. I'm so used to carting around an extra battery that I haven't gotten all my charge cables in useful spots yet. I just leave the house with a fresh battery out of habit whether or not it needs to be changed and carry a spare.

For Kat...Brandon and John are co-owners and co-inventors at Evolv. Real pioneers and innovators in vaping since it began. They hold the patent on VW (they invented it as far as the Patent office is concerned) and have created such products as the 30, 40, Kick, 200, and of course the Darwin. Bugs and glitches and all, we owe them both tons, and tons and tons. It breaks my heart that this counterfit stick has chosen to use their name in the splash screen. That's just wrong. Not to mention the "confusion" it can and will create in the marketplace. I have zero connection with Evolv but have spoken with Brandon a number of times when I was writing an article for my Blog. Great guy! Bugs, glitches and all. Their would be NO TP revolution without these geeks. They started it and the bat cave geeks followed.

I'm appreciating this clown for what it is, but, like you, I do dislike the use of the Evolv splash, and the XvoStick logo as well.

Brandon and I are acquainted actually, and know his work fairly well. Yes, he and John have brought SO much to our vape table over the years. They truly have pioneered in the field, and their products have been more than well received.

Kat-gal's picture of the Darwin caused me to break mine out today and plug a naked carto (pre Boge-gate carto) to it and have a long forgotten vape with it. Just as good as it was years ago when the Darwin was new. Really good tootle puff and should all the new technology go away today it is still a satisfying flavorful vape. Kinda enjoying the vape on this many years old Darwin....

Kat-gal's picture of the Darwin caused me to break mine out today and plug a naked carto (pre Boge-gate carto) to it and have a long forgotten vape with it. FYI: My 3F counterfitzer board failed! It's was a humane death and no animals were hurt or abused in the process. I received a full PayPal refund from 3F after a few back and forths, navigating the language barriers, and other accruements necessary for a full cash PayPal refund.

Tried it with a few different attys with same result. It's gonna have to go back which is a pity because it really is nice ...if it worked.

Well, it looks like these clones from Fasttech have been just as problematic as the clones from 3FVape.

When I get back to the US from here in the Philippines, I think I am going to order either an iStick TC60W or maybe a eVic VTC Mini ..... There just seems to be too many problems with these XvoStick clones.

Well, it looks like these clones from Fasttech have been just as problematic as the clones from 3FVape.

When I get back to the US from here in the Philippines, I think I am going to order either an iStick TC60W or maybe a eVic VTC Mini ..... There just seems to be too many problems with these XvoStick clones.

Ironically, ours WORK perfectly. We just aren't tremendously fond of them.

But we're non-TC, and the simplest of vapers, so...

Go figure.
