As you may know, fasttech has two versions of this clone on there website. The photo I just posted is of the latest version which was listed on 10/30/2015 (6 days ago). This version costs just a couple of dollars more than the clone that has been on the fasttech website for the last month or two.
I don't know what the difference is between these two versions that fasttech sells ... but I was wondering if this latest version looks to be the same as the 3FVape clone that most folks here have been buying.

From reading the reviews, I know the older version of the Fasttech clone has some of the same exact problems that the clone from 3FVape has, so I was thinking that they are from the same exact manufacturer ....
That's why I ordered the new version that was just listed 6 days ago ... hoping that it's made by a different Chinese company (maybe without the same chipset problem) .... We shall see (since nobody has received this new version yet)

As far as I know, the first XVO was cloned by Ivogo. This is the version 3F sent back and caused a delay - afaik because of the boards. 3F and FC bought their XVOs from a different supplier. Maybe the first FT came from Ivogo.

Got mine from fasttech. It's the first version. I hate how the vape weakens as the battery runs out. Once it goes less than half, you'll notice the drop in voltage. Haven't had the ohms too high issue though. It vapes well with a fresh battery, but when it reaches the half mark... Meh.
Anyone know what chips will fit? I Want to replace it. In the meantime, it's back to the subox for me.

I am going to replace my 3fvape one with an evolv when I get time, the board is fairly short but i don't see a problem using an evolv.
Wiring the switches looks to be the hard part as it's very tight inside, i think the switch panel needs to be removed to resolder the switches but it looks like its glued in? I am still waiting on someone else to do it so I can have a look !

Both the old and new versions of the XvoStick clone that Fasttech now sells have TC.
I got both new and old FT version,old one has blue OLED screen and the new one has white OLED. and those 3 black screw on the bottom is difference if you look closely.one is smaller than other. sorry for my bad english.

ive been itching to mod, so last night i totally disassembled the clown. the clone board is identical in size and solder pad placement. the difference is that the clone board has rails attached, and the dna40 authentic comes without. ill try to take pics of the build. looks very straight forward.
i noticed the hex grub nut on the 510 has nothing to do with the ground and is basically a useless item. the 510 casing screws into the mod body, grounding it to the mod. there was a bit of hot glue as shown in other pics in this thread. easy enough to remove.

According to my order history, it's sku 3574401. What do you mean different buttons? Mine is SS and looks like it's not painted on (it's got some swirly marks from machining). But I'm not sure. The overall build quality is pretty good IMO. Solid, everything lines up, buttons rattle very little and has an authoritative click to it.
The finish does scratch easily, I already have some on mine from my wedding ring.
The OLED is white though (crazelee mentions blue with the first version).
The issue I have is performance. It vapes well at first, but tapers as the battery dies. Since I rarely change wattage, it kinda defeats the purpose of my using a variable device (I use one for the consistent vape from full charge to dead batt). I'm using my subox now, cause the clownstick gives me half the vape time due to the tapering voltage.
It does have TC but I haven't tried it yet. I turned it off using the instructions on the auth evolv manual.
If you do swap out the chip, post pics and document it please
