Nice find on the Athena Nenvy! It looks nice! Internal battery doesn't bother me....but it's a bit wide at 58mm....and 45mm depth of the recess...that's to deep for my Kabuki's :-( But 75w and the price are OK...but still I think I'll pass for now....already bought 3 mods the last month.. so I am all set for now...

Watched Todd's review on the Athena Envy 22 (pricing seems reasonable at £49) but the use of a lipo battery and no name TC worries me. Since it doesn't support user replacement (of the battery), I would consider it more of a disposable device.

I didn't notice the lipo last night. No go for me, TYVM.

Ditto.

I know what you mean, Dru. With all the Xvos soon to be parked in the garage, and feeling like we just made two passes thru the mod buffet line, I can't even LOOK at devices right now. :D

Are you full yet? ;)

And are you telling me (Radius) that you expect me to believe (Radius) you're not looking at ANY (Radius) other mods (Radius) now (Radius)?

:lol::shock::vapor:

For a new tube mod you could also take a look at the dicodes dani extreme v2+ (small, 40w, takes all wires, quality device, but expensive), just got one and I like it very much! (but not as much as the xvostick lol)

Btw: my communication with mini also was pretty smooth, mostly got an answer the same or next day

I looked at the dicodes dani extreme v2+ that you mentioned— thanks. Looks nice and I like that it is VW. Do you know what chip is being used? I am awaiting the arrival of my Xvo in the meantime.

NO sorry, I think they use their own chip....but they have been at this game for a while and have a very good name, so I suppose it's good :)

DPL and I have news.

We'll be back a bit later when the work day is done...

Keeping us in suspense huh :D hope it's good news!

It is!

Amazingly, two short days after being shipped from Israel, my doorbell rang this morning with the now-infamous XvoSticks in a package. I'm testing Kat's now (the one that had the sticking button), and so far (knock) it's been perfect.

I will contact Chels later, and post on his thread, to thank him for the unexpected expedited shipping. The last time it was over two weeks in transit, so this was a BIG surprise.

Wow! That's really really fast! They hire a private plane just for these sticks :)?
Good they are finally there gratz!

I know! Even I must admit being quite impressed. That was over-and-above any expectations on our part.

For all the beatings I've given them, some credit is clearly due. And it is VERY MUCH appreciated.

I think my xvo is on a camel somewhere. lol. Actually should be in USA by now but of course it's in usps purgatory.

Ours sat in Customs (JFK) for 10-12 days on the first run. Did you run tracking the the USPS site? You'll get a complete picture that way (vs. the international site that Mini links to). Same tracking ID, just different site.

I hope this helps you got a picture, SPV.

Beyond impressive. Shocking, actually! I could not believe my eyes when I saw they were delivered today!! They were in Israel 2 days ago?? Chels went out of his way to make this happen for us, and we're both mega appreciative of that.

Now I get to wait til DPL finishes "testing" (ahem, enjoying) mine. I'll be patient, DPL.

(no, I will not! send send send it!!!!!!!!!!!!)

kates, here's to your new babe's arrival. :toast:

And Save, you, too!!!!!!! We'll be cheering you both on!
