Thanks @Freedom2Vape - I read Mooch’s test results on the Brillipower battery. Mooch also provided some links. I glanced over the PDF file that was included for the 18650 . I am not a technical person and especially relating to batteries however on the chart I assume the various ohms listed relates to the coils. I do not subohm so this does not apply to me unless I am misunderstanding the data. I use the Nautilus 1.8Ω coils anywhere from 9 to 10 watts and sometimes 12-13 watts depending on the eliquid. The VS website did state they tested these batteries. I have five of the LG 20A, 2500 maH batteries and if they work with the Xvo, then I don’t need to buy new batteries at this time. If not, then I will consider the 3000maH LGs.
I've been using the LG HE2 for awhile now (actually since March, so it hasn't been that long) and like them. I have a few of the Efest 18650 batteries that have me disappointed with run times - ordered from an authorized AW dealer, a few of the AW 18650 3000mah batteries and will see how they hold up. Unfortunately I have far too many devices and tanks. It's like an itch I can't scratch :(

Just so that I have not misled anyone just because I change my battery at night or in the morning, I do this for my convenience. This has nothing to do with getting or not getting a Weak Battery error message or the battery gauge not working. When I emailed Evol my question had to do with the battery gauge. I have a tendency to forget to carry an extra battery so if I am out and about, I don’t risk not being able to vape. I have taken the battery down on a few occasions to 3.4V but this is not the norm for me.

According to evolv the 'weak battery' message means the battery is sagging too much to produce the requested wattage- and when you get it, you can still fire, but you'll see the wattage doesn't go all the way to your setting. One possibility is that since your target is only 10-12 watts, you have a great deal of head room amp-wise and your batteries are never going to trigger this problem regardless.

6 months is forever in the vape world!

After using HE2s, HE4s, 25rs, and VTC5s, my favorite are them yellow HE4s, I've been very satisfied with them since they released back in Jan. They can still get me through a whole day with my tanks ... the sammies just barely aren't able to and forget about the Sonys - they don't even get me through my work day + commute.

Help!!:(
Good news my xvo landed this morning - bad news I can't get it to recognise or fire an atty. When I put the battery in I get this which I assume means it is in normal mode (?):
20151017_151301.jpg

and I've raised & lowered the 510 but even when it's wound right down I can't get anything to connect (tried a few different ones which all fire on my p3/ dani) - no error messages, the ohms stay at 0.09 (should be 1.8 - 2.3). I haven't used a DNA40 before so am I missing something really obvious...

Have you checked your atty on something else? An ohmmeter or another mod?

Kates - I'm sorry to say that this might be the exact same problem I had with one of mine. Please contact Chels immediately about it. He should replace or repair it for you.

I'm sorry. :(
