Just thought I'd chime into this thread as I recently ordered a 26650 xvostick and a merkava to go with it.
I ordered directly from mini-ecig despite having read every post in this thread in the hope that things would go a little smoother for me than some others.
Happy to say the experience went pretty smoothly aside from the 3 week wait from the time I ordered. Even that isn't so bad for an order from outside the US.
The wait time was roughly two weeks before I saw a tracking number and about a week to land on my doorstep. After the first two weeks I sent an email and received a response within a day, saying that my order would be shipping in the next couple of days, and it did!
I went for the proXvostick because I pretty much only vape with 26650 batteries anymore other than a couple of evic vts, which I use for wattage vaping only. I like long battery life but don't want to deal with married batteries at all and a single 26650 gets me through the day.
I only vape at 40 watts or less and am still undecided on whether I like TC at all so the proStick seemed like a perfect match for me as another wattage device. I'm currently messing with some stainless builds on various attys on a vaporflask stout and enjoying it.
I'm not much of a tank guy but decided to throw in a merkava just to have something to vape on the xvostick until I figure out if I want to use a dripper on it or not. I put my first build in the merkava tonight - 26g parallel wrap @ .45 ohm (my main rda build) just to see if it would work. Build went smooth, no hassles fitting it to the deck or wicking. Been vaping it happily all night at 30 watts so I'd say it is a winner. Great flavor, good cloud and wicking and airflow are excellent for my needs.
Absolutely love the mod so far too! The button action is sublime and the mod fits nicely in hand. All in all I feel like I scored a great setup with no hassles. Hoping to be using it for a long time to come.
Just wanted to add a positive experience (so far) to this thread for posterity and say thanks for all the previous contributions. Helped me make an informed purchase that I'm very happy with.

as since I got my new Dicodes No6 box I really like the battery lifetime of the 26650

I was torn between the no6 and the stick and went with the stick first. I'm still interested in that mod though and might just pick one up next. Where did you buy yours? I've only seen it available in european stores, but if there is anything stateside I'd order from there for sure.
I have a cats rda and an aeronaut that might fit the xvo. I had those in mind when I ordered it. I also have a vulcanizer heat fin 510 adapter that can add a few mm of height if needed, though I'm really enjoying the merkava and will probably keep using it afterall. It's a really good vape so far - much better than my old kayfun or any of my genesis tanks I used to love. I've been useing drippers exclusively for the last two years so it is a nice change up and will be great for my daily drive to and from the office.

they are indeed only available in europe right now...and even over here they are hard to get due to low stocks ......it seems from the US Cremedevape in the UK seems a good option, they adjust the taxes etc. accordingly, so you don't pay the EU tax, and they have great service
Other vendors are for example vapexperience.nl (where I bought mine, they still have 1 Titanium in stock), greek-mods.com and a number of other shops (on the dicodes site they are al listed). I do think you need to contact them through mail to get one shipped though.
I also love my Xvostick...it's been trouble free since I bought it a few months ago....so a Prostick certainly is on my list.....but the experience I had (and others even worse) is still holding me back......but by the last few stories (incl. yours) it may seem they have changed.....I'll wait a bit longer before deciding and see if and what some more people will report on that end

drugarth: Thanks for the tips! Indeed, searching the european sites it still seems hard to get. Regardless, it is on my radar now that I have my stick, so Ill be checking those sites more often for updates going forward.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR mini-ecig
I have both the Authentic and Clone XvoStick. I am based in Australia.
My Authentic was from the first batch it did take 4 months to arrive. My Xvostick has been my everyday vape since Sept 2015. My XvoStick has suffered sticky buttons and juice getting into the screen area.
I emailed tech support and they are sending me replacement buttons and a pre soldered chip for free so I can self repair my XvoStick. The customer service and speed has improved significantly. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS FOR ME. I am sure any issues like this for other purchasers of the authentic will be resolved just the same, they also offered for me to send it back to them for it to be fixed, I am in Australia so chose for them to send the parts to me.
Also anyone condsidering the clone:

Also anyone condsidering the clone:
- Asthetically it is exactly the same
- The 510 connector is different, does not adjust and does not work with all tanks.
- The chip is absolute rubbish, temp control does not work, drains batteries fast if subohming.

Chels should contact Dicodes and get their chipset, which is being released to vendors in the near future, for a new Xvostick model I would be all over that!

I concur that the difference between authi & clone is significant. The vape was considerably different too, much more so than I had expected. The clones are fine for $50, but it's definitely a $50 mod, and the only common factor is the body (which is plenty for some people, so it's fine there). It wasn't enough for me though, so mine passed through my hands very quickly (a month maybe, almost untouched).
Unfortunately, we're now in a position of possibly needing support again, and I don't think we're going to want to go through anything again (just a case of battle fatigue). One of our four stopped firing, and then complicated itself when the grub screw turned all the way into the base, and appears to have spun sideways somehow. It's now firmly stuck with no ability to turn the plate.
I was being VERY careful with it, as I was doing it, so it's definitely not a case of "not paying attention". Somehow it wasn't lined up properly, but I've done it enough times to know that it felt perfectly normal. It makes absolutely no sense to me, but I've become somewhat use to such scenarios with the Xvo.
Thankfully, it's not the last of ours, and we're still plenty-well-stocked with Xvo's. I'm now at the point of trying to decide whether to, (a) attempt to turn the plate using brute force (which I can likely do), or (b) selling it off cheap to someone comfortable enough to open it up from the bottom, and resolve it that way.
We're discussing the options, and sitting on it for a week or so. We're feeling no pressure as one of our two favorite vendors recently announced that they're coming out with some new options sometime soon. Knowing them, and the marvelous work they do, it's not out of the question that the Xvo's might get pushed aside (aka "sold") anyway. We're thrilled with the Xvo's (outside of the issues we've had), but part of that is because they're a bigger, stronger version of the unmentioned ("favorite vendor") mod. Depending on what rises from their announcement, well, you know.
As much as I love the Xvo, I'm truly beginning to think it's for people who aren't afraid of opening something up and diving in. It's analogous to sports car in that regard. Just MY opinion, but the more I see, the more I think it might well be an accurate one.
When they're working properly, it's a VERY tough mod to top (for my vaping style, at least). But it definitely requires more than an oil-change-every-3k to keep all cylinders firing.

hunter, thanks for sharing the positive stuffs! I, too, found the klownstick to be of much lesser quality and particularly in terms of the wonky chip and a much less smooth vape. Mine also left me quickly, but from what I know, the next owner is still enjoying it quite a bit. For a 50ish dollar device, it's fine. I just happen to prefer the authie, hands down.
Ahh, battle fatigue. Yes, DPL, we certainly have a super bad case of it, do we not. And right or wrong, neither of us really feels like sending yet ANOTHER Xvo across the ocean blue. Not again.
The mysteries of this particular device continue to confound me. With this new difficulty, that of the self-propelled and "self-adjusting" grub screw, we really have come to the conclusion that this really should be sold as a modder's mod.
I'm terribly sorry that I can't be of more help to you, DPL. That's a bummer your screw got sunk and I hope you DO have the brute force to get that plate moving.

I was SO careful to work over a small box so as not to lose the grubby screw, and in the end, my Xvo lost it for me.I do wish I had the ability to open it up and try for a fix that way, but I have a feeling I'd prolly disengage the board or the buttons, or who knows what the H I'd do.
