Oh thank you, ian! I had no idea Roxy had gone to supplier status!
I don't think she is "supplier," I think she is tester and designer.Oh thank you, ian! I had no idea Roxy had gone to supplier status!
And so it is written!!!!!!
And I've nothing to say (can't speak...... laughing too hard!!!!!!)
GREAT stuff, thanks all. And go, Roxy!
In an unrelated PSA, I thought it might be a good idea to remind Xvo users that they do require a bit of regular and recurring maintenance.
Over time, juice builds up, on and underneath the 510 plate. Unless you've taken yours apart, the device should be hermetically sealed, so there's no danger there. But it is a bit unsightly, and what I consider to be a small nuisance.
VERY easily resolved though. Maybe once per week, or twice per month, simply unscrew the plate and give it a good cleaning. I use Q-tips and 99% alcohol, on both sides of the plate, and all around the 510 connector (including all the little holes for the grub screw).
One word of caution, be CAREFUL when removing the screw. Do it over a plate, or something that will contain it. You really don't want that thing falling onto a multi-color carpet, making it impossible to find. Trust me - I spent an hour one night finding one.
That's it for today, folks. Remember that a clean screw is a good screw, and that it's always a good idea to keep your holes clean.
And here, I'll beat Kat to the punch.
