Had smoke-free day one! That hasn't happened in forever!
Yesterday, I felt SO much better overall, and I was much more able to get around, do stuff, without crashing into something or otherwise having difficulty. Had some fierce cravings (especially after 3 p.m., but that's normal for me I guess.... I just perservered.) Was able to hang out outside with husband (we're stoop sitters, even at 90 degrees, LOL). I could tell he felt bad as he kept moving away to smoke and I was like, "No, no, honey, come back, so I can inhale that lovely second hand smoke!" but he wouldn't. Heh.
Got a couple more flavors, I love coco and that flavor in particular really tastes like it sounds. I also remembered my go to skill for antsiness/edgyness, my last serious attempt at quitting I failed, but I did make the most beautiful blanket for a friend of mine's M who was dying of cancer... So it was off to Micheal's and purchased like $100 of supplies (expensive, but the way I do them, I have to pick a bunch of colors, running out then trying to find the same dye lot sucks, and then once squares are knit, I applique them with felt patterns and words and it's mostly soothing and numbing until I get to laying out the pattern, then it gets complicated. ) My GM taught me to knit and crochet when I was 5, I can't believe I TOTALLY forgot about this coping skill, it's really helping me not chain vape! Maybe I'll sell this one to buy liquid, LOL, except I already have in mind someone to give it to....
I'm surprised, I thought I'd really be into high watt/sub ohm vaping but I vastly prefer my nautilus 2 at a lower wattage and I again, am so grateful to the person who suggested it. Aspire tanks are great.... While buying flavors I was looking for a spare, but all they had was Kanger tanks, they are so flimsy and awful....(to me). Maybe in a week or two if this persists, I will order a second tank.
Thanks to all you guys who helped me get this far! I feel so much more prepared than I have times past, here's hoping I can continue in this direction
