Since they are part of the general population I would think it would be similar to the numbers for the general population. Other than that it would just be speculation.
I'll give you that.
But let's take a look at what we have here.
Media has brain washed the general public.
Print and T.V. media alike.
E-cigs are fairly modern technology.
We're pretty much almost solely talking about removable batteries in these recent discussions.
Most of which have been mech mods.
Nearly all of those (if not all) have been young men reporting their "explosions".
The demographic that's into testing ingesting or inhaling modern, electronic technology isn't exactly the same hermit who's only source of "reliable" information still comes from the paper boy or CNN and FOX news.
And trust me when I say...
I've seen it in my own family.
The folks who aren't interested in much more than online banking have to be pulled down from the rafters and forcefully convinced that the media is lying to them.
Now when I say I see it across the country, I mean it.
That's why big corporations do market research and market analyses.
They want to know their core demographic.
And the core vaping demographic ranges usually between technologically savvy to at the very least curious.
Otherwise, they wouldn't put a battery in their mouth and pull the trigger after the New York Times told them it was worse than cigarettes.
That and... I've yet to see Uumbutu from Zimbabwe make the news with his "exploded" e-cig. How about you?
