Two Florida men file lawsuits alleging injuries from e-cigarette explosions
So court filings are to the point where there are some actual details to look at. May be some of the court documents are online. My first impressions are the lawyers on both sides probably don't have a good grasp of the fine points, which would be typical. One case involves a regulated mod where the battery vented in a pocket. The second case sounds like a mech that burst when the fire button was pressed. It would be interesting to read the court documents so far. There is a hint in the article that a fake battery might have been involved in one of the accidents.
In this article about the same story Man left with severe burns after an e-cigarette exploded in his pocket | Daily Mail Online the attorney for the injured person says the Kangertech product was not adequately ventilated. That's dead wrong because it uses a magnetic battery door. The ventilation can't be any better than that.
