If you have to ask....that mod isnt for you.

This is why I laugh when people say mechanicals should come with instructions.
If you need instructions to use it, you probably arent an advanced user and thus shouldnt use it in the first place.
You need to do more research.

Knowing ones limitations would stop many of these incidents.

People with mech mods that end up venting/exploding batteries couldn't even define the word limitation.

I'm not slamming mechs. They're solid, reliable, and artistic pieces, but they require an understanding of amps, volts, etc.. but mechs in the hands of ...... will clip the freedom we have with vaping.

Thats why they have that little disclaimer "for advanced users only".

You think that keeps 'em in the hands of advanced users?

I mean, that isn't gonna stop some idiot from acquiring one.
They must eventually learn that life has risks. Welcome to the world.
That education they played video games through actually is crucial to making it safely through this world. The best we can do is educate and prepare.
If they knowingly ignore warnings its on them 100%.

These are all adults we are talking about here.

You cant save people from themselves.
Its a waste of everyone's time and resources.

Just 100 short years ago, such a cavalier attitude with safety and tools would usually cost a person their life.
Today they get sympathy while the educated and cautious get regulated down to the lowest common denominator.
Its insanity.

I agree with everything you're saying. I don't have sympathy for people that hurt themselves with mechs because they tried to sprint before they even learned to walk. I'm just saying their ignorance is gonna crush the vaping industry.

And a 100 short years ago someone most likely mentored that person in the safe use of those tools and they wouldn't have started out using the most potentially dangerous tools.

Many people?
Yeah.

Most people?
Probably.

That person?
Doubt it.

Yes because they knew better that to shove tools in their mouth without fully understanding them.

Common sense was commonly used back then.

(Sorry, I'm a lil late getting the 'news')

Looks like an iStick TC 60W.

But what's also the probable cause is shown on the floor...
(2) fried cells with their jacket melted off and (2) presumably LG HG2's (brown jacket)
If all 4 batts were in his pocket and none of them were in a case, it's not at all surprising why his pocket when into thermal meltdown.
Just another dumbazz that doesn't know a thing about battery safety...
umm that's an RX and it's a triple battery mod, he also had a bunch of spares fee floating in his pocket... in total 6 batteries were counted.

If he was using a hybrid device...shame on the shop. I'm looking at my twisted messes rda, and while the pin does jut out a bit, it's nowhere near long enough to be used on a hybrid device, at least not for me.

At builds below .12, the insulator on it doesn't stand a chance, and will most likely melt and that pin that was just long enough suddenly isn't.

Bzzt!

I mean look at it!

Unless he's a complete numbskull and put the battery in upside down, and that welded bit is part of the button.

Prove it.

Tapatyped

I don't have to prove it. You can see it's already happening every time some ignorant douche says, "Oh, you vape. That can blow up, ya know?"

The news is like a virus and these people blowin' their teeth out with mech mods is spreading to a bunch of sheep that will just assume that vaporizers blow up for no reason.

You don't think that's gonna cripple the vaping industry?
