I have been thinking of ways to help spread the word about e-cigs since we are such a small group and not many people even know what one is. Bumper stickers and t-shirts have and still are being made by various people, but anybody could do this if they had the desire to.
Coffee News .com was my last suggestion.

Anyway I received the mail today and got a prepaid flier for a local business. It got me to thinking. How easy it would be to have about 1000 made up in your area and just have it say something like electronic cigarettes save lives or electronic cigarettes may be a much safer way to get the nicotine you need or something like that. There could be all kinds of info on the flier. You don't have to put links on it but you could say something like google electronic cigarettes for more information. You would not need a return address or anything and the P.O. would send them out for you.

Just a thought.

You know? First I thought we should limit this to smokers, but it may be a good idea, although I would not recommend google for good info, we need a casaa or ecf of some kind of website specially made for precisely the people who know nothing about them. It should also be worded carefully, reasonably expecting that many of the recipients will not be smokers and have no interest in cigarette or any addictive promotion. The wording could state something like 'Do you know a friend or a loved one who smokes and would like a better alternative?' You know what I mean?

New York really is an important area to do this, imo. I have posted about tv commercials and business cards, etc.

You know? If ONLY 1% of adult smokers in NY, (JUST ONE out of every 100 smoking adults in NY,) would sign the petition today, the number of petition signatures would be over 25,000 tomorrow!!!

Oh, and posting this previous thing reminded me of something else. We would need 110% certainty that the blind mailings would NOT reach a single person who is NOT an adult.
