No, exact same vape mate, the Q mini is quality, also quite a bit lighter than the G and worth having in your vape arsenal for sure!
Yeah a few improvements can be made to the software but happily easily rectified with an update. Changing font size is a great idea, which would also sort the power modes displaying correctly, instead of cutting the end off.
I will offer again my thoughts on software improvements. Bluetooth and software has very basic functions only for such a high dollar device and only a few things can be set, changed, or modified and nothing can be seen in real time, recorded, analyzed, or tested while using the device.... when is Yihi going to have software with the capabilities and functionality that EScribe does? Heck on the SX-mini I had I couldn't even check to see if the temperature was even accurate, much less analyze anything, nor record anything, nor set the maximum default wattage output of the device, nor set preheat-punch-duration, nor set and define themes, nor configure screens for running and charging of temp and non-temp wires, nor adjust brightness and fading of the display, nor add custom materials, nor set 8 profiles, nor analyze and configure the device case thermals and internal resistance for the most accurate results, nor analyze the atomizer, nor have real time data displayed in a Device Monitor, nor have any diagnostics functionality. Escribe does all this and much more but you get the jest of what I would like to see in SX software. Then put that in Bluetooth for iOS and Android. (EScribe apps for iOS and Android would be nice too should they become available.)

I use 24mm atomizers. I have a feeling they are gonna look small on this thing. Mine should be arriving today. Troll RTA coming on Saturday *sad face*. Goon'n it up til then...

Just ordered the Q mini, the G Class seems to be sold out most places already anyway. Day to day I mostly use 25mm tanks which will look better on the Q than the G.
My only other Yihi chipped mods are the IPV5 with a lower end board and a Revenant with the SX350J V1 so excited to try the new high end Yihi board.

Vaping is still evolving and if there is something better I certainly will consider it. From what I'm told, and from what I read here, by those with the Q and now the G is that it vapes just like the ML. The ML I purchase was not for me so I sold it to someone who would enjoy it. I was fortunate to buy it for 99 bucks plus shipping brand new so the person that got it got a great deal on a device, that was only used about two hours, for 108 bucks to him. I probably could have made a few buck on the deal but just PIF to another vaper....
EDIT..... checked the For Sale/Closed to check what I sold it for.... had to edit this post as I had a brain-ft on the selling price....which included the Priority Shipping and insurance.

you can lock the device itself with 3 clicks.

So you can't lock the joy stick while vaping to prevent accidental changes in the settings but can only lock the device..... hum....
According to the video above you can lock the resistance. See video above at 17 minutes and 23 seconds....
@HandsomeSam mentioned a few things that needed updating a few posts back so maybe when there is an update they can include being able to lock the joystick in the update.

Yeah when the mod is locked the joystick switches between digital or analogue clock style. I'm sure it's easily updated to lock the joystick separately but it's a non issue.
The joystick is solid, not easily pressed by accident. Past week living in my pocket I haven't bothered locking it and not once have the settings changed.
What I'd really like to see is an update on an sx pure tank. The option for sx pure is present in the Q, Q mini and G class so I'm hoping it's still a possibility although I don't think it can be released now in the states due to the Fda garbage, but still hope for the rest of the world and importing for USA.
If it's easily updated to lock the joystick then why not.... it is an issue for me and maybe to some others too... Accidently getting a super hot vape ain't no fun....

So KMG Imports says it's a pre-order but shows 57 of the Carbon Fiber only in stock. How should I interpret this?
I had spoken to them on Friday via e-mail and was told they had them in stock. Their website is confusing...I suggest you email them as well in case they sold out and didn't update.
Had a little play around with the G class, a solid colour looks posher but I'm sticking with the dual colour scheme for a bit
