They have a G-Class esque mod out already (Boxer) that I really pondered picking up...40mm tank compatible lol.

Call me a nit picker, but I'm not a fan of the gap in the battery door.

Yeah they have one model that takes 18650 batteries but the one that takes 20700 batteries is new.

The gap on the battery door doesn't bother me. It looks like it needs to be there for the door to swing open.

Hi all,

I have a gclass does anyone else have the back light go out ?? I noticed it yesterday and then later in the evening it was back on.

Any help would be great

Simon

It's supposedly powered by a separate 'button' battery that is recharged when you charge it via USB.
I'm kind of hoping that's the case because it will go out one day and since I don't charge via USB, never return.

yihi doesn't recommend you charge by usb, so I am pretty sure the button batt. gets its charge from the 18650 batts. it is my understanding it is there to power the clock and maybe to keep your presets. just my thoughts.

Thanks for you help,

I charged it via the USB for the first time last night and the light came on first fire and then went out and it hasn't worked since so I guess I have a faulty built in battery that isn't holding charge.

Take the 18650s out for 'a while' then put them back and see if the clock is still accurate. That should tell you if the internal battery is good or maybe some wiring has become loose.

Now that I have a properly functioning G Class, I love it.
To celebrate, I paired it with a tank that fits well. The Aromamizer Plus in gun metal.
Extremely nice vape.

aka Bluegrass Vapor Co.
+1 on Kudos to them too. My Plus came from there as well :D

I asked a question via their contact form. It was around 12:30 AM on Sunday morning. I asked if they had the new stock of the Plus. I was surprised to get an email back in less than 10 minutes asking the difference. I sent a pic of two side by side showing the difference in the top cap. In another 30 minutes, I had an answer. He went to the warehouse and looked. At 1 AM on a Sunday. Now, he may have been going anyway, but still.
Needless to say, that's my source for anything they carry!
Prices were less than other places for the same item as well.

What do you all think is better, the sx mini q mini or the g class?

Depends on if you vape TC. If you have or plan to get a larger than 25mm tank. How fond of joysticks you are.

If all the answers are positive, the G Class is for you.

Got myself a carbon fiber SX Mini G Class two days ago. Trying to find a good mod to replace my Provari Radius which I loved. I've wasted money on the Lost Skar DNA 75, which vaped great, just didn't hold up to every day abuse. But did last 6 months. Got a Fuchair 213 about a month ago. Looked great, simple menu, but TC was a total joke. Went to the local vape shop, and there I see the SX Mini G class sitting there. I must say, that I'm in total love with it. Not sure if I'm a fan of the the PC software, or the app for the iphone. But wow, looks great, and a great vape. But my only complaints would be how the joystick sticks out, and wish the menu was a bit better which I hope gets works out in updates.

On that note, any rumors of the buttons wearing out, joystick breaking, how does it handle drops to the ground?

I had a Q Mini for a couple of months but a couple of weeks after getting the G Class I sold the Q. I really thought I would use the q mini more as the majority of my tanks are 25mm. The form factor, ease of use and overall performance of the G class outshined the q mini easily for me. I don't know if it was just in my head or not, the 450 should have the same performance as the 550 but TC was better for me on the G as well.

Once you learn the joystick on the G class as well there is little need to enter the menu. You can switch from TC to power, switch metals, cycle through memory slots, change ramp up and more with just the joystick. At first it is a little odd using the joystick but after I figured it out it is one of the easiest mods to operate.

G class over the Q mini all the way, the q mini is pedestrian next to it.
