"You begin to think you're obsessed when..."

Well...

Just look at me.

Wait!
What?

Did you say possessed?
It doesn't matter how many gigawatts you have at your fingertips.

As long as you stay under 450° your fine ;)

Wait, was it 450°? Around there anyway. 950 watts at 450° and your good to go
That's not even a kilowatt.

No, it is not. I believed it would be a more eloquent and witty way of indicating my sarcasm in the thought that 'no matter what you are protected by a tc device set @ 450°' ;)

I was kinda convincing myself that I wasn't obsessed at all....Which in and of itself might be a sign....

But then @Rossum posted his pics and I immediately knew who he had coffee with. I guess I'm a lost cause.
Settle in and make yourself at home. You're in good company. Might as well enjoy it. I am!

Judging by the label that says temcoindustrial.com Im going to guess Temco ;):evil:

I dont know the price though...be back in a minute....

 Lol. But people do sometimes sell things made by other companies.
Like Argos will sell products made by robertdyer which have robertdyer.com printed on them :p

I don't think you have either of those shops but they do exist:pervy:

Round about £90 then. Okay. Seems fair enough.
One downside though.

You know when u have a tiny 15metre roll and the wire slips from your fingers and just spins wildly from the roll?
It will be a nightmare if I let a tiny piece of this 1.5 lbs roll of 28 gauge slip...

Do you break it down @beckdg or do you you use it from the big roll?

I don't see that as an issue.

I only make mistakes as a courtesy to mere mortals.

Seriously...

When I figured out exactly how I like to vape, I immediately bought that roll.

I seriously underestimated just how long a 24 gauge coil lasts.

So I still haven't broken into that spool.

BUT!

When I do, I'll have plenty of smaller spools to transfer to.

Transferring to smaller spools has never proven to be a successful maneuver for me....Unless my goal was to make the world's largest ball of kanthal. I've settled on 250'ers.
I figure I'll use a long screw, rubber washers, regular washers and wing nuts to clamp the smaller spools and chucked onto a drill.

And the wife can hold a pencil with the large spool and apply a little tension by hand.

Then start slow.

We'll see...

In another life, 20 some years ago, I worked at a business that manufactured small custom instrumentation transformers, and re-spooling wire was a matter-of-course thing there. It's not difficult, you just have to know the secrets. :sneaky:

Hmm. I don't drip, or squonk.
I'm not into rebuilding, or diy juice.
I've only got 5 batteries, and 7 tanks after over 4 years of vaping.
Could it be possible that I'm not obsessed?
Nope.
I'm just as obsessed with it as anybody else here.
I just tend to stick with what works for me.
I figure I'm just lucky. I found hardware that I like relatively early, and didn't have to try a lot of different stuff.
