You have $120- what type of mod do you get and why?

I haven't got a carto tank yet but I'm kinda of leaning towards ibtanked. For $34 I can get a 22mm Pyrex tank SS end caps and custom color on the tube. Anyone had good luck with these?
The Phiniac Tank is made of Pyrex and its YouTubes PBusardos top tank recommendation. He loves them! Anytime you wonder about a product I suggest scanning YouTube first so you can better form an opinion, before purchasing a product.
Yeah I usually do but I though I would also hit the ecf up as well. I like them bc I do a lot of research before I spend $ on anything and this is on the cheap side for a custom jobs that a lot of people love.

So Michelle, I was in exactly the same boat as you. Started with Halo triton. I chose to get an MVP V2 and an iTaste VV v3.0. Loved both for different reasons. Then I got a reo bc I use 100%vg juices and none of the other stuff worked well for me. I LOVE my reo.
But if the coin isn't there, here's my two cents. Get the $3 808->510 adapter so you can use 510 gear on your halo. I did that and made the (sorta) mistake of going to the mvp and vv v3 next. I could have continued using carto tanks and Protanks with the halo and gotten the REO a while earlier. Don't get me wrong, the mvp v2 is a tank and I love it. But the reo replaces it completely. The itaste is hanging out as an ohm meter/backup device. If I had it to do over, Id actually hold off on the itastes, skip the protanks, and go with the smoktech aro Pyrex. Half the cost of a protank and similar vape quality. I'd use some of the extra money to buy wire and cotton balls to rebuild the aro heads. The rest would go into the kitty for a REO down the road.
Sorry for the dissertation but I literally have been there.

Why do you like the Reo? I considered that, but now I'm leaning towards a Vamo, so I can buy good quality tanks, batteries, charger, too within my price range.
100%vg wicks poorly and feeds poorly in cartotanks and clearomizers. Flavor from dripping is amazing. Combine the flavor of dripping with the convenience of a tank and you get a REO. It took me way too much spent on other stuff to figure that out. I'm gonna be selling all my other gear besides maybe a aro and a protank for my backup. The rest, including the mvp is going on classies tomorrow or Tuesday.
If you're vaping higher pg content, other things may work for you. I just got tired of the fiddling and the leaks. I wear a suit all day and after having another clearo leak leading to dry cleaning, I took the plunge to a reo. Couldn't be happier, hence the evangelizing. Sorry if it's a bit much.

I too would say get a REO grand - unless you wanna wait and spend your money on something else you are gonna wanna upgrade from in the future. I was fortunate enough to have been recommended one of these within 30 days of starting to vape. I have not even looked at any other devices since then:
You just fill the onboard 6ml juice bottle with your favorite juice, put in a battery, screw on your favorite carto / atomizer / RBA, squeeze the bottle with your thumb to keep it wet and vape all day and night like a Rockstar.
It's the simplest, most reliable system available also highly pocketable and extremely durable. The come in many different colors too. Good luck and congrats
Id also suggest vaping unflavored nic base. It doesn't have that nasty flavor like all the flavored juices I tried do. It's nice and bland, like a cig
The REO grand is gonna run you 145, the REO RBA is 43, RBA supplies about 15 and each battery is around 9 (I'd recommend to get 2). After this purchase, you'll be set for pretty much life on RBA supplies (wire & cotton), your REO and RBA will last indefinitely and your only expenditures will be juice and you will prolly want More REOs - they're all you'll prolly ever want to use again

I buy a Sigeili 13a, 2 18650 AW IMR 1600 mAh, a nitecore Intellicharger, an AGA-T2 or an RSST, and wick and wire.
I would get vamo v3 second choice would be the zmax. You should be able to to find starter kits for well below 120 then have plenty of money left over for accessories.
vamo and zmax both have the same functionality. My main considerations are VV, VW, Battery Level, Protected, Ohms meter
vamo is my 1st choice mostly because I prefer the 3 button configuration and how the menus are accessed.
zmax is my second choice as it has a single button it makes scrolling the menus a little more cumbersome.

Within your budget everyone has made excellent recommendations. Outside of it, I'd say like some others, a REO. Why? Well, flavor from dripping is unpaired. It's milled aluminum and can last you for a lifetime. Easy and simple. In my opinion, it's the best vape I've ever experienced (coming from mini-ecigs, eGo, Vivi Nova/Protank, Vamo, Provari, and even a recently tried Poldiac mech mod with a genesis tank on top) and nothing comes close to it. However, it is your choice to either pick one of the great options that have been said in this thread or wait and save a bit more. Or a pair, at this outstanding price. That's what I began with as an entry into mod's a slope top and flat top. This served the aesthetics of pairing to a multitude of types of vaporizers or tanks.
But really, there is no faster way to gain an appreciation of the potentials without learning the ropes on a variable. Just takes longer to understand the electrical aspects. And if you want to compare alternatives, be it juices or atomizers, it helps to have a closely matched set of power sources. As I added other mod's I was quickly able to optimize their match up and setup with other devices. Yep, it quickly got me in trouble as my workspace is now strewn with a menagerie of "tests". A pair of eVic's would have helped render answers a bit quicker but then the budget's only $120 here.
Always good to have a backup, I say.
