You know you've been vaping a while when.
Getting bashed because of vaping rebuildables under 1 ohm and using too thick of a wire (28g)
Most were vaping 30 & 32g and said my rig was dangerous at .8 and .9 ohms

Pluid[emoji13]. It was so hard to get and I wanted to try it. I finally procured some and it was nasty. To this day it's the worst juice I have ever tried......actually there was another that tasted like incense, but can't remember the name....something like mom's jamacia, or something similiar sounding

Maha Ras was another from Mad Murdock. I think it was like incense. Nasty stuff.

You recognize what a CE2 is, know how teabags were used and with which attys. And remember when the first rebuild able attys were released, was frightfully expensive. Have a few Pucks in your stash box.

But most of all you don't have any idea of what all the new models are, what they do, or care. A Kanger
Sub-tank is as advanced as you will ever need. A few 20 watt max is really enough mods for your taste. You've finally used the last of the freezer nic concentrate you bought during the 2010 - 2011 FDA, customs scare.

AND you're pretty sure you forget more about vaping than you remember

Yup, about 75%. And, I still own 2 GLV Mini (among other things).
Still dream of owning an S&P tank...
Got a few.
You know you've been vaping awhile when...

...you're using an eGo Mega Cylinder Shaped or Mega Cone Shaped atty to taste test your DIY eliquids...and other vapers ask, "What the Hell is that"?

...friends are looking at you very puzzled, because they see you stealth vaping with a Vision Nano clearomizer on a tiny eGo 400mAh battery.

...your "vapocolypse stash" includes not only lots of more modern gear, but also 200+ cartos + 15-20 carto tanks, punches & fillers, a dozen or so 510 JoyeTech 320mAh batteries, 18 5-packs of your favorite Vision Nano clearomizers, boxes of 510 short attys & foam filled cartridge/mouthpieces, etc., etc.

...your rotation of mods still includes some Innokin MVP's.

...your car and house have years ago lost the smell of your cigarette smoke.
I wish I had discovered the Vision Nano V2 while they were still available. By the time I got one and got around to trying it, they were gone! I had hated the V1.
You remember when 'low resistance' meant 2 ohms......
2 ohms is the best!

You know you’ve been vaping a while when...
you wished you had all the “old” gear back you’ve either sold/PFI’d because those companies are gone now.
Sorry but my wife is still using the flaming Serenity Gear sleeves...

When you dig through boxes of stuff and can't remember what half of it was called or its use.

When you remember being on a pre-order list for whatever was the latest/greatest thing and waiting months to receive the item. Caravela comes to mind.

When you can remember 'mods' made from Altoids tins, pencil boxes and lasers.

Yup, I built my first box mod in a small black plastic project box from Radio Shack! Being an electronics tech guy I didn't want to use a METAL box and have to line it with non-conductive material for safety. It had a 510 connector with a carto screwed on the end, an 18350 battery, and a heavy duty Radio Shack momentary SPST fire switch.

Somehow, I managed to get a good vape out of it without blowing anything up (or putting my eyes out).

That was it!!! Yes I remember trying that one and it was also awful. It's funny how my mind worked, because I said " jamacia something " and that wasn't in the name but maybe Maha ras sounds jamacan

I still have the first box mods my hubby built with parts bought from MadVapes but these used 18650 batteries. He then built us each a tube mod from a couple of those little led flashlights. We were in vapin' heaven coming off those tiny stick batteries. I only had to charge those 18650's every 3rd day instead of every 30 minutes :D

Someone mentioned led lights in the bottom of atomizers hitting the market. What goes round comes round. Way back during the beginning clearomizer days I ended up with a box of 5 little tubes called smokeymizers (I think that is what they were called-bottom coil-held about 1ml) that had a led light in the base. I still have 4 of them. gave one to my sister after I filled it up to check it out :D I don't know why I keep this stuff
