I'm so loving the posts that the ADM mod is working...we are not a clicky pen house so I'll have to go to the dollar store! Think it'll work with my 801 blank carts I was SURE I'd need?? I love my penstyle but only for dripping, have 510's I'll definitely try the mod with. Is the 801 cartridge space too big to hold all that liquid back with just a spring and poly ball? There are times dripping in public makes me look SO an addict, it would be nice to have a satisfying cart set-up...I'm a Substance Abuse Counselor by day, funny huh? 8-o

Ohmygosh - That is funny! You definitely want to avoid looking like an addict under those circumstances.

I found that remnant of a spring that sprung away and escaped earlier, and was able to use this mod on an 801. I've been vaping away for half an hour and no leakage yet. 'Course - keep in mind, I'm using VG juice which is thicker. The draw is lighter than what I expect from my 801. I don't have to suck my brains out. The vapor is GREAT! And I think that the atty is running cooler. It's working so far. :)

Okay I went around to co-workers collecting crappy clicky pens! I don't know how it works without leaking (physics?) but it was easy to cut the springs in half with office scissors(!)...I then commenced to cart modding at my desk! Less than a minute to make and there I was! No leaking out the mouthpiece at all no flooding atty! When vapor died a bit I just did the "rubber pencil" wiggle to shift some liquid down and voila! At it again!

Still love the dead-on drip but for the times you can't (fill in the blanks)... it's the quickest and most effective cart mod I've used! Thanks!!!

Initially, a few good puffs longer than dripping a couple or three drops...then the liquid seems to get hung up in there and stops seeping through. Have to take off the cart and poke it a bit to get the "juices" flowing which can get messy. Eventually I took out the ball of poly and dripped the rest onto the atty until empty I had to mess with it too many times...tried it on the 510 and 801...it'd be okay for a drive to work or break at work where I don't want to look like the nic fiend I am but the straight on drip still wins!
