Smoking for over 35 years was like commiting slow suicide. The revolver loaded with cigarettes is an appropriate image to remind me of the gun I was holding to my head for smoking all of those years. It's been 28 months since I smoked my last cigarette thanks to vaping.
This is really heavy, I like it. I think your avatar is awesome.

My daughter took the picture on her phone, I fiddled with it a bit and bam there it is, me. I think we were just leaving her senior picture shoot, a costly experience that netted me little else but this picture....where are her pictures you might ask, good question, I'd like to know as well.

That was EXACTLY how I felt everytime I lit up, the last few years. Like I was playing russian roulette... only I'd never know which one actually did the deed that would end up killing me.

So glad I'm off the cigarette boat to hell!!!

As for my own avatar: It's me, albeit 10 yrs ago, and it's a portrait, so it's slightly retouched. The way I look now would break a camera. But I decided to start using a pic of myself instead of my funny cats because I was tired of people calling me "man" and "sir".
