I love this thread~ it's so interesting to learn the back-stories behind the names people choose.

I have two cats~

~ Tumbleweed ~ a big, sweet, silky-soft & fluffy, 'Maine ....' who's about 8 years old, and is mostly called 'Tumble'.

~ Tiger Lily ~ my little 'wild-child', a short-haired, pale grey, 2 year-old, nicknamed 'Lily' (among other names).

Now that my daughter and step-son are grown, the cats are my stand-in kids, only much more spoiled than the human ones ever were!

I just combined their nicknames, because I thought they sound good together.

As for the avatar, I don't really remember when or where I found it, I already had it in my computer before I ever even considered quitting analogs. I think it's beautiful, and the water droplet seems very appropriate for a vaping forum!

Like someone else said up-thread, I look forward to coming back and reading through all of these posts when I have more time. Really interesting!

Love the name Tumblelily!!

Lilac.....I have a lilac bush in my back yard......when I bring some of the flowers in they make my whole house smell so good!!

Fudgey, when I was a kid my Mom had a huge lilac bush in our front yard. When you stepped out the front door, you could smell that lovely odor.

I loved reading this thread so felt it time to add my story.
Trilly is short for Trillianne, a nickname I have had forever thanks to my grandad, he was into CB radios towards the end of his life and everyone on there had call signs as opposed to using their real names and Trillianne was how he refered to me, he said it was just someting that came to him so since then it has stuck and I love it, it is my wiccan name too since it holds such a personal meaning just to me.
My avi is a dragon, I just love them and my house is full of them, they are strong and powerful yet graceful and magical, always portrayed as protective which is just like me.
