YouTube ejuice reviews by someone who's not a "vape vet"?

Would anyone watch or do you think other people would watch a YouTube channel of just reviewing eliquids & my opinions on how they taste? I've been vaping for like 3 yrs now but all I've ever really cared about is the way the juices taste. I've done some basic rbas & I have a semi decent collection of stuff I don't use but I'm not interested in starting a channel like that & even if I were I'd probably just make a fool out of myself lol. The only thing about mods & tanks I care about is that they work well & are fairly simple. I don't know that much about anything else and the things I do know I don't know the technical terms for so the channel would be very straightforward just about the taste without an extra 15min of explaining everything but the actual juice. I have basic knoledge but no where near what most of the YouTubers have. I actually suggested it as a joke to a friend & he said it isn't a bad idea bc there are a lot of people who are either new to vaping who don't understand or people who don't care about all the other stuff most people add to their reviews & are just looking for a simple explaination & opinion of flavor. He also suggested I should do it in lingerie to make up for the fact that my technical knowledge is limited lol. I'm always online anyway so I thought it might be a fun hobby but I'm curious if people would think it's stupid to start a channel when I'm not going to bother to go into detail about a ton of technical stuff.
Anyways,opinions?

I would watch it. I love supporting fellow vape enthusiasts. Lol, of course you would get a following very quickly. FLAVOR reviews are becoming VERY popular, because of all the small start up companies. Leave the technical reviews to the ones that are already doing it. There are a few, not a lot of female reviewers, the most notable ones that come to my mind are Ruby Roo, and AbbyVapes.

The keys to what I will watch are a combination of the reviewer having enough experience to compare what they are reviewing to a deep knowledge base of what's available and some sort of at least minimally entertaining style. For flavor reviews, I hate reviews where the reviewer says they like the flavor or it's a good flavor, but no backup of comparison.

Someone who hasn't tasted enough really good stuff has no idea what really good or marginally bad is.

Always one way to find out. Do one up! Maybe do one that you didnt like but show that you can be objective about the flavor profile.

Might I also suggest that before you begin, set up a format for your reviews and stick to it. I think that if you just go on and rant about this is good/this is bad then your reviews wont be taken seriously, whereas, if you have a format and discuss the liquid in an objective manor then you will find not only that your reviews are being taken seriously, but also that more juice vendors will want you reviewing their stuff.

id watch it, and what i noticed on you tube is there are alot of people who are really dedicated to it and are really full of knowledge, and this can actually work against you if your new to vaping like myself because they use alot of technical terms and talk about too much detail that noobs like myself really dont need to know at this stage of the game..it can confuse people and even deter them because even though its not complicated i can see how it can come off that and get people to think i wanted to do this to chill and relax but it seems like more stressful then pleasure..so if you can keep it down to earth, interesting, and fun im sure you will get alot of subscribers..goodluck on it.

I would personally be interested in DIY flavor reviews. Never enough of those, but sometimes shipping costs a lot and i don't wanna waste the money on flavors that taste like crap.
When you run out of material for weekly videos, just redo the old ones in lingerie. Nobody will notice :D

Your friend is right about the lingerie thing, not that particularly but you'll be more successful because of your gender. Investing in a few basic items like a good decent recorder and mic can be had for 100 bucks. You should have a broad taste pallet or cater to a certain base of people like those who enjoy menthol, sweet flavors, desserts, tobacco or etc. I'm popular on an adult website (I don't get naked) reviewing items. Its really not hard.

I'd say go for it, I do videos, but I don't feel I'm all technical. I just describe presentation, scent, and taste when I do e-juices. You can get a good webcam like the Logitech c920, although I use a DSLR for mine. I would say no to the lingerie remark by your friend. Females are more prone to rude comments on YouTube anyways, but I wouldn't watch someone that is wearing that. I don't even follow people on Instagram that are like that. I like watching people that respect themselves, kind of like what Rubyroo, goregorebritnee or cheexievapes wears, t-shirt or tank top.

Not gonna lie... I kind of have a crush on Rubyroo.

You are very easy on the eyes. My guess is you would get a following regardless of how good your reviews are. Lol! But seriously. Some folks might appreciate a noob style review of juices without all the techy stuff. Just a "this tastes like berries and cream with cinnamon, easy on the throat, smooth, minty, sour, better than this one but not as good as that one, etc..." I'd personally rather have some of the more technical stuff, but that's just me.

To be honest, if you can string more than a couple of words together to form a sentence then you will be already better than 90% of the people on youtube.

I guess the most popular vape personalities have their gimmicks (Rip - wacky/annoying, PB - long winded, Todd - sighing/oooing etc), so I am sure your assets will help bring in the viewers (along with some interesting comments...).

Obviously most men like to watch beautiful women on screen, but for me (not a breast man) there has to be something more to it.
Personally I would like to see blind taste tests of the juices, with decent descriptions of the taste along with comparisons to other 'well known' juices. There are too many reviewers that seem to like everything that they try, so it tells you nothing.

A rating system would be good. You could put your overall list in the 'about' page (I think?) split into categories, along with information about you personally in terms of what flavours you like, juice types, food etc, so that people can gauge whether it might suit their own preferences.

Anyway, I really hope you do well on youtube and get more views than PewDiePie (or something similar) :)

I see my post got edited. There must have been a misunderstanding. I was trying to say your avatar is a photo of an attractive woman so if you look like your avatar, I would watch your channel and reviews Am I not allowed to say that lol?

Sorry if it wasn't clear.
Got removed before I saw it anyway lol, I just woke up. I was wondering why I saw two posts on this thread either got edited or removed.

That's kind of what I was thinking, some sort of theme/system to keep it organized. And I hadn't even thought about companies actually wanting me to review their stuff,I was just thinking it'd give me something to do since I have a lot of time & a lot of juice & constantly buy more but that's definitely an added bonus lol.
