@Baditude - sorry I only know YT reviewers from their handle, who is Todd?
You know .... Todd.@Baditude - sorry I only know YT reviewers from their handle, who is Todd?
Baloney. We need a 60A 9000mAh battery with a DC internal resistance below zero milli-ohms, and we definitely need more turtles. We need a YT reviewer reviewer.
Now it would be refreshing to see some follow up reviews 6 months later... a year later...
Yeah I find Daniel's testing to be inconsistent. I've told him many times already to be consistent with his charts and that he should not skip other mods, but yet he still does. Because of this I unsubscribed to his channel.I agree. If djlsb did this with his charts, I would actually watch him. But since a lot of his charts are based off of reviewer specific pre-production models, and most of the time I don't see him listing what firmware he is testing, I find his charts useless. If he would do follow ups and list the firmware versions that is tested, I would absolutely watch his videos and take his testing serously, dispite his obnoxious personality and attitude.

Jai also expose the big fiasco with Kidney Punch wire mislabelling their products. The only reviewer that I know of who did so. How far would that QC mishap have gone if he did not make such a big deal out of it. That serious **** to those who may have severe allergies to certain metals.
Does it come with stickers? I don't care what is written on the back of the sleeve the instruction book came in. Does the sleeve include stickers?
I realize the techno-geek type do not care about that. Those who prefer watt settings in 0.1's don't either. And many reviews cater to them. Great.
Where is the fire button? Easy to push? Too easy?( Pocket fire issue), what do the other buttons do? How many clicks for on/off? What drop in's fit? I can figure out the rest.
Me? I want short, to the point, English reviews that cover the basics and mention when they come with stickers.

As much as I would also appreciate follow up reviews and measurements, I also understand the time and effort involved in performing such measurements, creating a video on them, editing said video and then uploading which even with todays high speed links can take hours. That would be a huge undertaking and cut into his regular reviews. And given that many companies release several versions of firmware, when does the follow ups stop? His channel would not be as successful if he only reviewed a handful of devices with multiple follow ups vs reviewing a multitude of devices with little to no follow ups.
Yeah, I mentioned that whole large undertaking thing in my last post in this thread, but I personally would prefer no charts than inaccurate ones. Spreading inaccurate info is deceptive and hugely unhelpful.
He could absolutely run the tests again on select mods that prove to be popular, and on all teats he could always clearly state what firmware is being tested so people know that the test results are invalid to an updated firmware that they are running. But he doesn't, and that just makes me feel a sort of way about him.
A firmware update, that is what makes them inaccurate. How are his measurements inaccurate? Have there been other objective measurements made to debunk his claims? And just to state, objective measurements and not ones subjective views.
A firmware update, that is what makes them inaccurate.
No, now you are trying to make it sound like I am saying something I'm not saying. My point is that a firmware update destroys and invalidates any testing results he does. Some mods may not get updates, so it is helpful there, but on a lot of popular mods that do get updates, his results are for a firmware that is outdated and likely not used by many.LOL….ok. So I guess every review on every upgradable piece of tech is also inaccurate? Lets be realistic.
