Zen (Mike Morgan), House of Hybrids, was on Nova Broadcasting on Cigar Babe's show last night well into the wee hours. I jotted down a few notes but not on everything he said. He talked about the ZNA and other things in the works.
ZNA introductory version

Zen's new ZNA (Zen's Next Advancement) will come with a dna 30. It will work with a coil with oHms as low as .3 with an 18650 battery. The 18650 tube is an extra add-on for the ZNA's standard 18490 configuration.
The body is milled from a solid block of stainless steel (takes 27 minutes to mill). It has a media blasted finish. ZenKote (nano particle vapor deposition coating) nor other finishes are currently in the works for the ZNA body aside from the intro version. However, Zen is in love with the gun metal gray and didn't rule out other finishes in the future. Sadly, it didn't sound like any will be offered soon aside from the intro version.
There are only 50 of the intro edition available priced at $320. It is gun metal gray & bronze ZenKote. It will be nigh on impossible to get one of those. The standard stainless version will be $279.
New dna 30 features aside from the higher power limit:
Zen didn't have the boards until late and ran into some manufacturing glitches so the standard ZNAs probably won't go out until tomorrow. The arbor press for the DNA 30 board had to be retooled and the pin for the rocker switch was too large. Both issues have now been fixed. The first run is 1,000 and should go out in a little over a week.
Zen is going for a total production run of 5,000. His costs won't be covered until they sell 1,500 to 1800.
Zen is currently working with ePipeMods on something that they originally hoped would be out by Xmas. He also hinted at interesting things in the works with Provape but gave no hints of what that might be.
Zen has been working with Matt Bradley of the TV show Deadliest Catch to develop a waterproof, shockproof mod and is aiming to offer it in a 6,000 mAh mechanical. If a mod can withstand the tortures of Alaska crab fishing there wouldn't be much it couldn't survive. Zen is hoping for a late summer, early fall release. It will be very expensive.
I was more than half asleep when Zen was talking about his new mechanical ($110) that he plans on releasing at one of the large upcoming vape meets (Vapefest?). I didn't catch all the features but it will have a recessed bottom switch that can be purchased separately. It might come in side switch configuration that can be flipped to be on the top or bottom but I missed hearing that part.
Cigar Babe said that the Zen broadcast would be up on Nova Broadcasting or YouTube today but I couldn't find it. If they put it up it will be over four hours long.

New dna 30 features aside from the higher power limit:
- Power setting lock
- Faster screen display fade than the dna 20
- Custom boot screen replaces the screen that reads battery check. Boot screen will display Zen ZNA + serial number. The SN feature is exclusive to the ZNA and replacement DNA 30 boards for the ZNA will not have a SN.
- There still is no buck circuit so the lowest power remains 7 watts.
