i have learned to spin the button as i push it in , habit for me now .. fires every time. hope i never wear a hole in the battery .. lol
Does anyone happen to know how I would go about getting a v2 tank for my sidewinder, had my original cut down to allow for the o ring to rise above it but would really like to get the updated parts for the sidewinder. I know they had them on electronicstix.com for a bit but they don't have them in stock anymore and recommended I get in touch with House of Hybrids to get one, but there is no contact info on the site. Sidewinder is an older version one that I got on the classies. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Mike to get one or another source? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
From what i have read, i believe they are going to start selling an adapter for the SW that lets you connect all 510 threaded atty's to it..Not sure when , but i believe sometime in the near future ..

Thanks for the link. I've had my ZAP for almost 5 months now. I've never cleaned it before and haven't noticed any sort of dip in performance.
How often does electronicstix restock on the zen mini or the ash II ? Where do I throw my money!!

you will soon be able to buy the zenesis II Genesis Tank and put it on your Sidewinder. We do have glass being made to retrofit the original Zenesis Sidewinder tank with glass as well. Its just not out yet.

Being able to see the juice level is a huge deal.
I guess the zenesis II Genesis tank will be the whole tank part, (juice tank+chamber+top cap) right? If so, will it have any other differencies besides the logo being engraved on the top cap? Also, any estimated release date approximately? A week? A month?

Ok. So I picked up a Zen mini recently. Seemed to be working quite well right from the start. Then I did some reading on the forum. Since then I've cleaned the switch with Iso, sanded the screw, washer, spring and surfaces as well as battery terminals, and stretched the spring out a bit. Now it's performing quite amazingly.... I've also ordered brass upgrades from ENS. That being said, is there anything else I should/could be doing to increase performance? Not that it really needs it, but you know how it is.....
Opinions differ but if you find that it's performing to your liking, what more are you looking for? You can always chase performance but doing that can compromise the safety, reliability, and user-friendliness of the device.
I May be sending a customer into this forum with some frequent misfire issues i cant seem to work out, i would appreciate it if you guys could help them out. They have a pchela and an ash that are frequently mis firing and we have gone through a bunch of troubleshooting.
Hi I am just curious what kind of contacts the Zenesis 2 hybrids will be using for spring, button, firing pin, ect
being that zen has a new electro plating system set up....it is very possible he may have gold contacts. this is only a guess so don't take my word for it
ah that would be pretty cool and that would be on all of the new zen 2 models right?
I can say with some degree of certainty that they won't all be gold plated. The gold sidewinder CT on the hoh site is going to be over $500. Granted, the entire tank section and all hardware is supposed to be gold, but still, the additional cost and time incurred with plating all of the hardware would probably be cost prohibitive.
I couldn't imagine why any of the models would be different ... I am also curious if there will be any pictures released before the zenensis 2 launch date? because that would be awesome if there were some pre-release pictures.
