the extra o rings are for the cobalt tank. without it, you will leak. come on over to the zen reunion thread if you need a quicker answer. hopefully we'll get ya up and running
Got my Zen2 carto Hybrid in the mail today. Had also ordered a mini cobalt tank along with a mini clear tank and noticed there were o-rings sent along with the tanks. These replacement o-rings look to be a different size than the ones on the carto hybrid?

What are you guys using as replacement insulators when yours wear out?

If you have a carto, you can tear out the "fluff" & there is a little insulator sleeve in there that alot of folks use. If you don't have a carto & really need an insulator, I would be glad to send you one...just pm me your addy & I can mail it tomorrow. :)

When I have punched my own cartos for other carto tanks I use two holes (opposite sides) and they are smaller than the prepunched received with the Z2..but you have to make sure you don't puncture that center core or they will do nothing but leak.
Hole does go through into the filler. I tried to do the inverted trick like Zen showed but the carto got flodded anyway. Most likely because of the hole going into the filler. I measured the hole in the carto sent along with the Zen and it's 3mm. Nice perfectly round hole that doesn't touch the filler at all and puts no dent into the carto so I'm guessing put there before the filler and coil are added.

I would love to be able to do that at home. I don't know if the carto punch I bought from COV, the one that is a block of aluminum with the carbide point that screws into the side of the carto. Puts a dent in the carto before the carbide tip punches through the sidewall. I don't see an issue with the dent because it's high enough on the carto. Just don't know if the hole created is wide enough to allow proper wicking as it's only 1mm wide

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I just want to make sure the measurement is excact (no ruler or tape measure avail atm), What is the measurement in mm of the flat part diameter of the topcap of the Z2 Carto Zen? (Where the drip tip sits) Having a custom tip made and I wanna make sure it's right and sits flat and flush...Thanks!!

I have a 18350 carto hybrid, and I'm having a terrible time with a burnt taste...I'm getting the feeling that the juice isn't feeding into the carto from the tank.

The tank performed great with the pre-installed carto, but once I changed the carto (to switch flavors), it's been a huge let-down. I tried two other Boge XL LR cartos (pre-punched, ordered from you), and even tried going back to the original carto to no avail.

I've:

1. Made sure the air channels were clean and free of juice.
2. Filled according to Zen's video
3. Tried both priming the carto as per Zen's video AND pre-filling before installation.

I'm using the recommended AW IMR's, if that makes a difference. There is a slight battery rattle, although I've read that's normal in certain Zen devices.

This is my first carto tank (I've been using ViviNova's and ProTanks until now), so it's likely user error...any tips for a Zen/carto n00b?

edit: Just a thought, but if there was a gap around the 510 threading, would that cause the taste? When I installed the second carto, I noticed that it wasn't standing perfectly straight once screwed down.

I really, really, REALLY want to love this thing. When I first had it delivered, it was amazing. I want that vape back!

Any Zenesis owners in San Diego or North County, Riverside area can answer a few questions. Is the button screw mod necessary, have seen videos of people just pushing bottom button and no problems with vapor. Mine is inconsistent and the battery tube gets warm. I understand the concept and difference. It is frustrating, have both flat top and button top battery types to use. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Brought it to a shop and the owner claimed to have owned an older version and claimed my 18350 tube was to short??? Any suggestions would be appreciated

try two holes when you punch the carto. i fill with the condom method: fill the cap that came on the carto about 2/3 full. gently push the connector end down into the juice. let it soak for a bit. If the carto is not slushy looking, you don't have enough juice in it. it's always good to blow out the excess juice that could be stuck in the holes before putting a carto in the device.
