Good luck with that, I am telling it you may not vent in a thermal runaway. All Zen~ and his distributers are concerned about is you not suing them if your face blows apart. Any unintentional short incurred under normal use at recommended ohms could lead a battery to fail, or you could just get a bad Chinese battery. I know they have such a good record of quality. Zen~ apparently builds for his insurance company, not me or you. If you don't put a hole in it, and a battery fails, good luck.

I have just a couple zen questions if someone might help please.

First which glass tank do I need for a back-up of my Zen Carto tanks ??
I would like it to be the same as the one that ships with it - if any other sizes even fit.

Second will either size of the Z2 genny attys fit on a sidewinder, I have always wanted one of my sidewinders to have a glass tank so might purchase one of the new z2 attys.

Anyone have pics of above set-up by chance (Z2 atty on SW) either or both sizes if applicable would be cool to see.

Thanks folks, I have 4 complete zen set-ups now with a few spare parts. I really want to get a few more soon if I can swing it.

You can use either the Zen standard size, or the Mini for back-ups on your Carto Tank.
I currently use the Standard Size, 22mm x 33mm ElectronicStix has the mini in stock but
are out of the standard size. LINK
You can get replacements anywhere, Google Zen Tank replacement Glass ... something along those lines. lol

Read this and tell me how Zen~ APV meet safe guidelines. Somebody please explain all this. Or, do this threads authors not acknowledge failures may happen. I know this describes stacking as the primary cause, however any battery can fail in the case of accidental short. No vents, blow-out plug aka. rocket to the face. WHY?

One thats a very very old horse, AND more importantly the Zen devices Do have room for venting AND do so away from you face and hand. And most importantly Zen devices are the only ones I know of that Totally disconnect BOTH poles (Positive and Negative) of the battery as a Built in safety feature. there are other safety features But these are the main ones and some that set it apart from the average Device

Thank you ^^^

I was not sure if both were the same diameter .... cool.

Tim the Mini tank will let you use short cartos the Standard tank will let you use the Long cartos.

Also yu CAN buy either Z2 atomizer and it will go on your Z2 that was part of the purpose to make them modular .... your CT will also thread onto the SW

hi Tim. those will tanks will not fit the sidewinder but ya, it works for the ct tank.

I understand that, I was considering buying a whole new Z2 Genny atty for my SW .....
Just so I could have a glass tank genny on the sidewinder :)

I was looking to see if anyone has pics of either the mini or standard Z2 Genny on a SW to see which height (size) looks better.
Or which size is closer in length to the standard SW genny atty.

Greetings folks...

I purchased a Zen2 Medius (gun metal) from the classifieds recently. I'm having a hell of a time getting this thing to fire with any regularity and my pinkie is getting sore as hell in the process.

It seems as though there's a certain angle that the button needs to be pressed from in order for it to fire. Or maybe it needs to be shimmied at just the right part of the button press. Sometimes I whisper sweet nothings to it. Even if everything goes perfectly, it still won't fire about 50% of the time.

I'm fairly certain there's no user error coming into play here. I've read through the previous several pages of this thread in an attempt to get this problem resolved. Somebody mentioned a hot spring from AltSmoke resolved the issue for them.

Is my difficulty typical of the Zen2 out of the box?

I've always wanted a Zen hybrid and was really excited when it arrived, but I'm getting ready to throw this damn thing through the wall.
