Ok.... so I'm still going nuts trying to figure out what's wrong with my standard. Ever since getting it I have been having problems with misfires. I did most of the suggestions from the posts, like sanding the screw, spring. When I take the switch apart I five the screw a light sanding. I stretch out the spring, a tiny bit, then reattach.

The unit fires up great! I get a bunch of vapes out of it all very consistent. Then it starts misfiring. At first, ts like 1 or of 3. Then, it goes to 1 out of 2. Next thing I know, it won't fire at all, until I take the switch apart and repeat step 1.

From the previous suggestions, i f/u with Jason who kindly sent me a new spring but I'm having the same issues so it can't be it.

Has anyone experience this and/or knows how to fix it.

Thanks!

How is the flavor? If it's good, I wouldn't mess with it. Sounds like your juice is pretty thin so opening it up like a straw may flood and cause problems.

The flavor is very good. I'm still getting occasional dry hits, after going through 3 tanks of juice on a new wick and coil.

Do you know the size/dimensions of the washer? While working on it in my garage I dropped it and it's lost : (

No, I sure don't. What I would do is go to a hardware store and find one that will sit inside of the switch body where it's supposed to go. If you had that washer and lost it, that would explain your problem, though.

Unfortunately, I was having problems before losing the washer. I haven't used it since.

Just picked up my Zen Mini today :) def too airy of a draw for me as of now but nonetheless it's tasting .....en!...is there anyplace I can get a top cap with a smaller air hole?

Orion 2.1, 69 Mod with Cobra Atty, 28ga Kanthal, 5/6 wrap.

There were a few, but they have been discontinued. Most people decided they preferred the open draw after a few days. You could put a piece of stainless steel tape over the air hole and poke a smaller hole in it with a 20 or 18g needle to test out a tighter draw if you want. There is a tutorial around by Lorderos on how to carefully superglue a piece of blunt 18g needle in the airhole - but I remember it was tricky and easy to screw up . . . .
Oh, and CONGRATS on the Zen mini!!! :)

The Zenesis use to have magnets but many many people complained of misfires cuz with the magnets the switch needed to be pressed in and to the side, many couldn't master this technique. All Zens ship with springs now dayz and there is no need to push in and to the side....it will fire everytime with the spring. I believe you can still get the magnets at houseofhybrids.com when in stock.

Ah ok! I don't feel so weird now haha I thought some parts may have been left out or something...I want it to operate at its maximum potential. I'm sure you guys know where I'm coming from.
