Hi! New here to all things Zen. Been wanting one forever! Just got a Zen Standard from the classifieds and managed to hit a site when the ZAP was in stock - so got a brand spanking new one of those!

My Zen Standard has the magnet bottom. Can I purchase just a cap with the spring? The magnet button is a little wonky and wobbly for me and I am so afraid to set it down - afraid it will fire!

I love both the products. Where can I get a ZAU? I would like to be able to use it with something besides a Provari and add another Zen to my collection!

Hi Marre, the ZAU's are sold at 310Vapers...I know you can replace the magnets with a spring, but the more knowledgeable Zen folks will have to help you with that one, as I have never had one with a magnet.

You are going to love your new Zen's and congrats!! :D

Hey you! Saw you were a Zenaphobe! I was just thinking of PMing you to ask you about this! That white tip I got from you looks fabulous with this!!

And since you are a Bedazzle aficionado as well, does the Zen min fit the ZAP and ZAU and does the regular Zen/iHybrid fit the standard Zens?

And thanks!

morning :)... electronicstix sells springs you can use instead of the magnets. if you have the magnets set right and not on the easiest throw setting, it's unlikely that it will fire on it's own. you got it right on the tank size

How about tutoring the Zen newbie on how the right throw setting would be set up and a little tutoring on how to replace with the spring should I be so inclines - pretty please!!

Instructions for the magnets are in here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...00-zenesis-hybrid-personal-vaporizer-faq.html

If you want to replace the magnets with a spring, all you need to do is take all the magnets out and put the spring over the post in the bottom part of the switch, then put it back together.

here it is:
Q~ The switch on my Zenesis is too hard/easy to press. Can it be adjusted?

A~ All switches will have magnets in them that allow for adjust-ability. The switches are shipped at medium force. Adjust the force of your switch by switching the magnets as follows-

High resistance = large magnet in the button end with the two thin magnets on the screw post resisting.
Medium resistance = Large and thin magnet on the button end with one thin magnet on the screw post resisting.
Low resistance = Large magnet in button end with one thin magnet on the screw post resisting.
*if you need to replace a magnet, the sizes are 1/2" x 1/4" x 1/8" and 1/2" x 1/4" x 1/16" (O.D X hole x thickness)

All future Zenesis models will come with a spring switch instead of magnetic. (10/3/12)

marre, all you have to do to put the spring in is unscrew the bolt in the switch. it will come right off and when you lift the top, you will see the magnets situated in there. slip them off and replace with spring. in the mean time, have one big magnet sitting in the botttom of the switch. put one or two magnets in the top of the switch but make sure their repelling in force from the bottom big magnet. slap it all back together and screw it back down. hope that makes sense.

Thank you so much!! Understood! I think I will get a spring and try it. I also noticed colored o-rings that he carries. Nice! Going to doll my Zen up a bit with these!

Thanks again!

Got my spring and changed it out! Perfection! Works great - no wobbly and I feel comfortable setting it down. I bought it second hand in the classies - it only had one thin magnet in it....maybe that was the problem.

Anyway, good now and thanks for your help! Working great and I scored a ZAU on the classies today. So excited to get it!
