Ah, thanks Imeo! I think something is wonky with the Steam Engine coil calculator.. if I put in .4mm zirconium around a 3mm bar, to get 0.45ohm it says to use 11 wraps. I'll just have to measure it myself to be sure

Thanks! Still waiting to try the Zirconium wire.. was gonna hold off on using it until I get my TAE up and running (still desperately searching for my GG supplies )

With the center pins from Fabvape I got 10m of 0.40 Soft Zirconium and the label recommend a TCT of 260 - 280.

Someone has used this wire with TC? I wonder the difference from the GG Zir TCR of 100.

I messed around and didn’t get any more Zr wire from GG and I just ran out. Does anyone have some Zr wire (spools) I can purchase here stateside? I’ve tried all the other materials but nothing compares to Zr with the way I vape.

I haven’t had any success using any TCR other than ~100 with any platform/device. I use a slightly modified SS TCR and CSV with Zr coils on my DNA75c based box I built. Let me know if you have any success with the higher TCR. (I’ve also tried the “pure Zirconium” dna/Evolv profile and it didn’t come anywhere close).
