I also got mine at clouds of vapor, and am having the same issue. I have LR XL Boges, I managed to get one in, but it was ridiculously hard to do, today I had to take it out, and had to use a punch, hammer and a vice.
EDIT: I was also going to mention (forgot to) that I put another carto in, but this time I sanded down the carto itself to get it to fit, and it took QUITE a bit of sanding to get it to fit, and I even left it a little tight to prevent any leaking. This has to be a machining issue, the hole is simply not big enough.
EDIT #2: I contacted CoV and they requested I send a picture of the tank, I did them one better and sent a video showing them what the issue was. He mailed a replacement the same day. Impressive.
