Castle Long Custard
Castle Long Custard, from Five Pawns, is the incredible liquid I bring you for today. Honestly, I don't know if I'm up to the task of reviewing such a complex and special liquid as the one I bring you, but we'll give it a try anyway. Thanks to Vapeo24 for making these reviews possible as always!
According to the manufacturer; From the first inhalation, the dense texture of the custard unfolds with its silky sweetness and comforting character. As the flavor evolves, the crunchy graham cracker base adds depth and a subtle toasted touch. On the exhale, smooth bourbon, coconut, and toasted almonds complement the blend.
First of all, remember that the liquid comes in concentrated aroma, specifically 15mL, and must be mixed with our base in proportion according to taste, along with nicokits if necessary. After that, it must be left to macerate for 15 to 20 days, and the longer, the better.
In smell, we notice a very creamy custard, and a very, very clear touch of alcohol. In this case, the alcohol is not very strong, so to speak, it feels soft, sweet, and I think it will be a very good note. Those almonds are also noticeable, a good tone of nuts, and finally, a sweet note of vanilla. I must say that the coconut, at least in the olfactory test, I don't find it.
Let's move on to vaping it. The base note is clearly the custard combined with the graham cracker, which provides a very good sweetness and creaminess. In the inhalation, the bourbon is noticeable, but it feels soft, a delicate note and also very well complemented by the sweetness. In the exhalation, I fully notice the almond, a nut that combines very well with the creaminess of the custard. The coconut, although it is very, very soft, is also noticeable in the inhalation, although as I say, it is very little perceptible, it is a note that I would have liked to be more present, since I am a coconut lover (this last one is something subjective, or simply a contribution).
It is clear that it will not be a liquid for daily use, not because of its price, but because of the beautiful and elegant packaging it has and the complex flavor it provides. It is definitely a liquid to keep over time and use only in special situations. The combination of packaging, the crystal bottle with pipette, the flavor it provides and those very faithful notes, make it a very special liquid and worthy of trying at least once.
