I would like to share my review of the Nevoks – Feelin device. As for the device itself, it's not bad. I've seen many positive reviews and decided to buy it. However, there is one serious issue – the poor-quality plug on the cartridge. It tends to break after 5-10-15 uses.

I thought I might have received a defective unit, so I ordered additional cartridges. But again, after about 10-20ml, the tongue for the plug tore. What is this? I also made the mistake of ordering extra coils.

It turns out that to use the coils, you'll need to buy new cartridges, making it a double profit for the company. Importantly, the coil itself lasts longer than this darn rubber piece.

I want to complain. The first problem that arose, I thought it might be an aggressive liquid. But with a new cartridge, I used my own mix with only one flavor, and no, the same problem again.

So, it's clearly a failure (or is it intentional) of the company's quality control. How did they test it? I can't understand...

I searched the forum for GitHub and found a lot of links to code that is no longer maintained.
In some cases, the last commits were 4-10 years ago.
Are there any active Open Source projects on vaping? Is there even a custom firmware that is Open Source with a large community?
Can someone give me an overview of Open Source and vaping?

Or are there no more such projects and are we dependent on proprietary manufacturers?

I did a web search and found a few projects, but didn't understand exactly what they are and what they are for.

I haven't bought any nic in a few years and my deep freeze is getting low on 100mg/ml nic and everything i see has like a $200 shipping charge for a gallon. Anyone have a good source?

I was at a local vape shop picking up some ejuice and they had some mods that had DNA chips, Lost Vape I think. If I purchased one of these mods would I notice much difference in vape quality as I only MTL vape at a max wattage of 15 watts. They are pricey so would I notice a difference?

I've been on the constant hunt for finding something to replace my hyde edge disposable mango peaches & cream disposable. What I would like for it to have is: the ability to be held in the teeth/lips, auto draw, AND an RBA. I simply can't afford to be buying expensive coils or expensive pods. What's in my budget is winding my own coils for pennies, not buying disposable coils for $$.

I started with a caliburn g, then G2, gifted an caliburn AK, none of these have RBAs. My first pod RBA system was a voopoo vinci II which was stolen at a festival. I had since purchased a voopoo seal but this seal gives me extreme spit back unless I close the choke ALL the way and put the wattage down to 5 otherwise there's not enough air flow to cool it down and it winds up burning the cotton. I tried going from 50/50 to 70/30 as per the suggestion I was given on discord but this did not do anything to remedy the problem. I won't be looking for another vape if I can figure out how to make this one tolerable/usable as of right now it's un-ideal giving me constant juice mouth that I'm having to spit out.

I need to find something that can live in my teeth while I am typing/programming/making things with tools/etc. Hands are expensive real-estate and they can't be affording to hold a vape all day. Neck lanyard + teeth/lips grip is my preferred way to vape when I am out and about.

I have a box mod for my sit down experience at home at the end of the day but I need something for when I'm out and about or for when my hands need to be free for extended periods of time.

I'm seeing a BUNCH of new vapes since the last time I looked ~6mo ago. It doesn't appear many (or any?) of them have RBA coils && auto draw. ie: the exact features I am looking for in a vape.

What's available in the market currently that has: autodraw, rba, and light enough to be mouth held?

Design
The design of the device in general isn’t that different from what we are used to from pods in the industry right now. It has a screen and a button on the front, along with some branding. The screen basically gives you all the information you’d wanna know when vaping, except for a puff counter. There is some branding on the front and back of the device and on the bottom you can find your Type-C charging port. On the left side of the device, there is your adjustable airflow and at the top, where the pod sits, it has a cut out on the front as well as the back, so you can always keep an eye on your e-liquid level.



Pods & Coils
The pod on the device is a comfortable one. You can easily slide it in or take it out, and the device lets you know it’s in there with a little bit of vibration. There are 4 coil options you can choose from and Vapefly was kind of to send me all of them to try out for this review. I usually love the 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm coils, but with this device I also really found myself liking the 0.6 ohm one. It gave me the perfect amount of airflow and I could the tightness of the draw with the airflow enough so it made for a comfortable, loose MTL draw. The 0.6 ohm coil, in my opinion, also has the best flavor.



Performance
The TIM pod comes with a new circuit board, which guarantees a consistent and stable output. With other vapes you may notice when the battery gets lower, that the output also gets lower. The new board for the TIM prevents this from happening and keeps a stable output power. That’s honestly the major thing that makes this device stand out. Not only do you notice it when the battery gets low, but I’ve also burnt a lot of coils with other vapes, because I charged them for too long and the hit was too much on the first few puffs. With this one, it always seems to be just right.

The device offers different options in terms of coils and adjustable airflow and wattage, which make it a really versatile vape that would cater to a lot of different people, experienced vapers or maybe even people who still smoke cigarettes at this point and really need to quit. Flavor on these coils was also really impressive, it’s really up there with the big names that put out pods on the market.

When you turn on the screen, most of the important information is just there, like the wattage, resistance and volts. It also shows you the battery and when you double press the power button it shows you the exact percentage that your battery is at.

I also really appreciate the different modes this device has. You can choose to use auto mode to prevent the coil from burning so it can only up to the recommended wattage for that specific coil. You can also choose to use DIY mode, to surpass that recommended wattage for the coil, but when you do, you might be burning your coils more quickly, so be aware of that. I personally prefer the auto mode.

"Ugly, but admissible"

I couldn't find much about the manufacturer. Other than the fact that the product is made in France and there is a fruit-free version available from unicornvape. So, this "witch cream" won't just be about the mango in the name, in fact... you get a vanilla cream to go with it, which you can see in the picture of the product.
"Ripe, fruity and juicy mango with creamy custard!" Unfortunately, this claim is in practice just a witch's wiles to lure us into her cottage. From my point of view, it's more like creamy vanilla custard with a hint of unripe mango.
It's a delicious creamy pudding, really well made, not too sweet, with a nice, good creamy vanilla taste, like you're really spooning the dessert. The mango adds a bit of tartness to the overall picture, dry and sometimes a bit of a nondescript flavour when steamed. I often get the feeling that they've just thrown in a bit of tartness, which is not the taste of the fruit, just a little additive, nothing more.
The smell and the taste is all about the pudding, but overall it's very good, you can just fluff it all day without getting stuffed. I've had much worse pudding flavours from reputable manufacturers, in the two and three times more expensive categories. As there is a fruit-free version available, and if it produces the same custardy taste, it is well worth the price, which in this case is four euros on special offer. For that kind of money, you don't really find a dessert flavour like this in their range.

Quite a nice little exterior, the design gives a kind of "French" impression. A mango cheesecake with caramel to taste, "designed especially for those with a sweet tooth" according to the manufacturer. I've never tasted a mango cheesecake, but the claim sounds plausible, at least from my perspective . The smell is indeed one half of the description, namely the smell of cheesecake: it has a pleasant, creamy scent reminiscent of cake.
The flavours: after the first taste, I immediately realized the peatiness, which somewhere deep down I was afraid of, the fruit, which is one of my great favourites in steaming, was unfortunately left out during the preparation of the cake. Maybe it was the pastry students? Plus they forgot to add the caramel, which resulted in a plain cheesecake. It's not that the fruit is weak or that the cake is too intense, it's just not in any form and that's it. A well thought out dessert flavour that would have resulted in a really special steamed cake left me feeling dissipated in practice. But moving on to testing the remaining flavour, the single cheesecake however is very pleasant, not too sweet, and its creamy state improves the product's position, making the flavour even more usable. The sweetening is well hit, adding a big dose of creaminess, which in itself takes its place in the sea of "cakes". Of course, this doesn't give the flavour the right to overlook the shortcomings that were left out of the expected flavour, but on a day of running here and there, it can stand its place as a half-finished test product of "pastry students".

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


As always Innokin is looking out for our planet by using only biodegradable packaging, the box flips up to show the device and tank already connected. Under the cardboard tray holding said device and tank are 2 cardboard boxes containing the 2nd 0.3Ω coil, spare glass tube and O-rings, 2 extra drip tips besides the Ultem one, charge cable and paper material being the user manual, safety and warning card as well as a card telling you about the 2 coils that come with this kit.

Picking the device up didn't feel heavy or light either but somewhere in the middle. There is no cheap feel to either device and the tank is time tested with a positive record so I don't plan on being surprised by it unless something has changed which doesn't look to be the case. I was sent the Black and Grey colors with a Black tank for the Black mod and Gunmetal color tank for the Grey mod. Both tanks look right sitting on top of there partners, The Black EZ Tube has a attractive Gold bezel up top at the tank connection that adds a classy look.

Innokin always looking out for safety placed a Red silicone cap on the male 510 of the tank that needs to be removed before using, there is a clear plastic sticker over the USB-C port and it travels up to the tank explaining this.
