ZOVOO Z700SE DISPOSABLES review by hittman

Hello and welcome. Today I’m going to cover a new disposable from Zovoo which is a subsidiary of Voopoo. If you read my reviews then you might remember that I had done one review for them previously. It was on the Dragbar R6000 and R8000. This time I will be taking a look at the Dragbar Z700SE which of course was sent to me by Zovoo in order to provide a fair and honest review. Each one of them is rated for 700 puffs but only have 2ml of pre-filled liquid inside of them. They are not rechargeable or refillable so when the liquid runs out then it is in fact “disposable”. They are auto draw only like most disposables and have a single indicator light that illuminates when you take a puff. The Z700SE uses Gene Tree ceramic coils to ensure a good flavor with each puff. The liquid contained in each unit has a nicotine strength of 20mg. One issue that I have with a lot of disposables is that the manufacturers seem to think that everyone wants enough menthol or cooling agent in every flavor to melt your face. I was pleasantly surprised by the last ones I reviewed for Zovoo so hopefully they have followed suit and did not put too much menthol in these. We shall see.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Z700SE is very simple as you might expect for a disposable. They come two devices in a box and the Dragbar and Z700SE name is on both the front and back as you might expect. Also front and back is a large warning letting us know that nicotine is addictive. As if we didn’t already know. I’m sure this is due to regulations where they will be released rather than Zovoo or any other manufacturer really wanting to put these warnings on their packages. On the front is the claim that you will get 700 puffs from each of these 2ml disposables. I seriously kind of doubt it but I am not going to carry a note pad around with me to try to record the number of puffs that I get from each one. I can tell you that I finished one in one day while still using other mods and tanks in between.

On the back is a second warning in smaller type near the top of the box as well as a list of specifications and company information. I almost forgot to mention that each one has 2ml of 20mg nic salts. I personally am not crazy about nic salts but know some people do and to each his own. I have to say that I chuckled when I saw the skull and crossbones on the top right side of the back of the box.

I was actually sent three different flavors/boxes of the Z700SE for testing. The three I received were Blueberry Raspberry, Green Apple Ice, and Triple Melon. My first thought was to start with the melon and save the apple for last since it had ice in the name.

1678926798856.png

Inside each of the three boxes, there are two Z700SE disposables sealed in a foil pouch with a clear front so you can see the device inside. The foil pouches have a notch on each side near the top that make it very easy to tear the pouch open to remove the device inside.

Each one has a clear rubber stopper inside the mouthpiece to keep it from getting any debris inside. I guess if you wanted to, you could save the stopper to reinsert it between uses or for carrying it in a pocket to keep lint out. The Dragbar name is on the front of the Z700SE with no branding on the opposite side. I do like how the flavor and strength of the liquid inside are printed on the front of the pod. This comes in handy when you have two that have the same color of main body like I did with the Three Melon and the Apple Ice samples I received that were both a yellow color. The printing makes it easy to tell which one you are picking up.

In the third picture below you can see that there is a clear plastic strip wrapped around the device where the pod meets the body. This needs to be removed before using the device. It also has a message on it about what it’s designed to do once the e liquid gets too low. I can tell you from experience that once the liquid level gets too low that the white LED light that sits under the center of the D in the Dragbar name will flash multiple times and will not fire once the liquid level gets too low. You can see the remaining liquid level in the last picture below when it stopped firing for me.

1678926928488.png

1678926954574.png

The airflow on this one comes in through a single hole on the bottom. I found myself multiple times accidentally covering the air inlet hole with my hand when using it so had to pay attention not to cover it. Most pods and disposables I have seen have the air inlets on the sides of the device and that is what I’m used to so am not surprised that I had issues covering the inlet.

1678926989172.png

FINAL THOUGHTS:

The Z700SE is a decent small disposable device. The auto draw on it worked flawlessly except when I accidentally covered the inlet on the bottom with my hand. It is very small and thin and will easily fit in just about any pocket for ease of carrying and since it doesn’t have a button you don’t have to worry about accidental pocket firing. Did I get 700 puffs from each one? I really don’t have any idea but it really didn’t seem like it. Of course the number of puffs you get is going to depend totally on the length of each puff and everyone is different. I don’t know what the standard is for measuring the number of puffs from a device but have a feeling that it isn’t very long.

There’s not a lot to talk about on this one so I’ll give my thoughts on the three flavors that I received for the review.

Apple Ice: I’ve never really been a fan of apple flavored vapes. To me the apple flavor was very light on this one and the menthol/cooling agent was very strong on this one. After just a few puffs it was so strong that the menthol hurt my throat. I feel like the apple flavor was overshadowed by the menthol and this was without a doubt the strongest menthol of the three I received but I kind of expected it with the “Ice” in the name.

Triple Melon: I tried this one first since I tend to like melon type flavors. I honestly couldn’t tell you what the three melon flavors are in this mix but the flavor was definitely pleasant and the menthol was quite a bit less than the apple flavor which made it more tolerable but chain vaping and then taking a drink of water resulted in throat pain.

Blueberry Raspberry: This one was my favorite out of the three and the first one that I vaped until the pod was empty. The blueberry and raspberry mix is very good but a little on the sweet side. More like a candy to me. This one seemed to have the least amount of menthol and I was able to vape it for quite a while without any pain in the throat from the menthol.

I was notified after I had already written this review that there were some leaking issues with the original samples that were sent out although I did not have any leaking problems. Therefore Zovoo postponed the release date so they could solve the issue before release and I was sent three new samples so wanted to cover those also for you. They were three different flavors from what I previously received. I had no issues with the new samples either.

Blue Razz Ice: This is obviously a blue raspberry flavor. It is kind of sweet with a candy like taste to it and not like real blueberry or raspberry. Like all the others I have tried it did have a somewhat strong menthol to it but this was my favorite of the three new ones. I just couldn’t vape it for very long at a time due to the strength of the menthol.

Pineapple Ice: This one is a very sweet candy like pineapple. It kind of reminds me of the juice that is in a canned pineapple only sweeter. This one also has a fairly strong menthol to it.

Strawberry Kiwi: This one sounded good so tried it first. It has a good mix of strawberry and kiwi but was a bit too sweet for me. Also the menthol was unnecessarily strong.

1678927044054.png

1678927069302.png

I know I always complain about menthol in disposables but don’t understand why manufacturers won’t put out some flavors with no menthol in it. I am a menthol user and use a menthol tobacco every morning when I get up. However I don’t mix my menthol so strong that it hurts my throat. I feel like many of the fruit flavors that I have tried in pods and disposables do not need the menthol and the flavors would stand up well by themselves without it. My only guess is that they are adding the menthol to intensify the throat hit. Mission accomplished!

I’d like to thank Zovoo for sending these samples for this review. I can only hope in the future that they will come out with some flavors without the strong menthol. Thanks to the readers for putting up with my ranting and reading my review. Below is a link to the website if you’d like to see what Zovoo has to offer.

My review of the Smoant Pasito Mini 25W kit

Heres another review by myself. Up today we have the Smoant Pasito Mini 25W kit sent to me by Smoant. Full disclosure they sent me 2 kits this one and the Limited Edition Seashell one which is nice. Lets get the parameters and such out of the way first:

Parameters:

Charging Port: Type-C

Resistance Range: 0.4-3.0ohm

Conversion Rate: 95%

Charging: 5V/1A

Voltage Range: 3.2V-4.2V

Output Mode constant voltage output

Cartridge Size 37.5mm x 36.29mm x 13.7mm

Cartridge Material: PCTG

Cartridge Capacity: 3.5ml

Colors: Space Grey, Brown, Black, Blue Twill, Cyan Gradient, Kelly Green, White, Seashell

My review:

So I'm going from a Moti X Mini as my daily vape to this Pasito Mini and the cloud production (which is something that is important to me) is the highest I've seen in a small pocket friendly vape kit. The flavor is actually surprising for what im used to as a DTL or RDL vaper. The flavor is something that is on par with an MTL device such as the VOOPOO Argus P1 which is probably my favorite MTL device due to the amount of flavor it puts out. For reference the juice I'm using in this review is Casadagua Cannoli Be Mine 0mg. There are a few negatives though. Chief among these is that the airflow control area is a little loose and we hen you open it all the way it tends to like to slide higher on one side over the other. The other is that it scratches very easily. This goes for both pod tank and device. Other than that its one of the better AIO pod kits ive gotten my hands on. Im actually retiring my Orion Mini in favor of the Pasito Mini.

The take away:

Strong little kit with lots of flavor and lots of cloud production. Glad they sent me 2 of them otherwise I'd be willing to bet I'd purchase another one.

VooPoo Argus G Pod Kit

1678892518823.png

Welcome back to part two of VooPoo's latest pod releases. In the last review, we looked at the Argus Pod SE which is a slightly more stripped down version of the Argus G, although accommodating so in a more compact device. The Argus G is just a tad bit bigger, but we gain a few more features along the way. We'll dive deeper into this further down.

I want to thank Freya from VooPoo for supplying the Argus G for this review, and as always, this critique will be done so in a fair and honest manner. I want to remind you that this is a review and not so much a promotion - you will hear and see full honesty in all of my reviews.

For a more comprehensive and interactive look at this device (you can view this product in 3D), I suggest heading over to VooPoo's Argus G page to do so. Much of what you see below is an overview of their site before I get into my own experiences with the device.

And as always, you can click on the photos to get a better view.

Basic Overview:

1678893176191.png

Color Options:

• Space Grey
• Racing Green
• Glow Pink
• Sand Drift Gold
• Aurora Blue
• Satin Blue
• Gloss Black

1678893462843.png

Key Features VooPoo States:

Powerful Battery, Long-Lasting Energy Behind

Compared with the counterpart rectangular stick style POD with a multi-function button and a screen, ARGUS G is larger in battery capacity. Its 1000mAh built-in battery supports stable vaping even with the MAX 25W power output and a full charge lasts about 3 days at maximum. In addition, ARGUS G comes with TYPE-C 5V/1A cable that makes the device full-charged within 60 minutes.

Diversified Vaping Styles, Taste So Smooth

VOOPOO ARGUS POD Cartridge has an innovative leak-proof structure. The four holes at the bottom balance the airflow and direct air inflow and the airflow buffer at both sides control the airflow speed. VOOPOO ARGUS POD Cartridge delivers a smooth and delicate taste while storing the condensates and poorly atomized e-liquid against leakage to the pod. Besides, the silicone ring maximizes the cartridge’s air tightness and ensures that the airflow amount heated by the heating wires is at the maximum. It increases the heating efficiency and lengthens the coil lifespan that supports a half-bottle e-liquid ( 30ml/bottle) vaping.

Intelligent Interaction, Get to Know Everything

The upgraded OLED screen could record five-figure puff times and display wattage, rest power, and coil resistance, recording and reassuring every moment of your vaping. In case of low power, atomizer short, maximum power output, high temperature, vaping timeout, or other special circumstances, the screen will pop up text prompts. Besides, ARGUS G supports dual ignitions, button ignition and draw ignition, vapers can switch them as they want and start their vaping immediately.

There are some claims here that I will try to diffuse down below with a comparison of my own experiences as well as how to navigate the UI and a better look at the pod/coil options.

1678894643443.png

The specs show that this is a slightly taller pod device when compared to its slightly smaller sibling, the Argus Pod SE, to accommodate the 1000 mAh internal battery. This also allows for the higher power output of 25W to power the 0.5 ohm ITO-M0 coil usable with the empty pod cartridges and removeable coils which are sold separately.

Like the Argus Pod SE, all package releases of the Argus G come with the same items listed above (the US Edition, Standard Edition, and TPD Edition). There's also a Lanyard for those that are interested in carrying this around your neck.

Testing Results & Experiences:
1678895610632.png

The packaging color is the same as the pod device color. The Argus G Pod Kit comes with a lanyard and Argus Pod family card. The card introduces the best wattage power and nicotine capacity of e-liquid that the ARGUS POD cartridges and coils match. This kit comes with everything you'd need to start vaping with the exception of any e-juice making this a great starter kit. The kit also comes with a spare pod coil which is great to see. This should help you determine if you're more into a mid-resistance coil (0.7 ohms) for RDL vaping, or a higher resistence coil more suited for an MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) vape.

1678896019952.png

The exterior of the device is made using a nanometer-scale polishing process which gives the Argus G quite a bit of flare when held in the right lighting. The colorway I received for the review is Racing Green which has a very British look to it. Coincidentally, it matches extraordinarily well with the Racing Green color of the Mini Cooper I drive, lol.

The front side of the Argus G mod battery has a small UI with a button for activation and allows minor UI control. To the right of the UI is the airflow control that slides up and down. While slid up, it reveals a tiny pinhole for a tight MTL, and when slid all the way down, it reveals 3 pinholes for a tight RDL vape. The airflow range for a device this small is quite good.

To the left of the UI is the USB Type-C charging port. It's capable of an advertised 5V/1A charge, and to recharge from a dead battery, you can expect about an hour and a half. I fully discharged the battery twice to see if it could recharge it in the advertised 1-hour, and it took around 85-90 minutes for both charges to reach full. The battery will pick up a Type-C 3.0 QC cable for any android users which is nice, but it will still only charge at less than 1A. Also, like most VooPoo chips, it does not support pass-through vaping, so you will need to unplug the device to take a few puffs if you want to vape while recharging.

The bottom of the mod battery has a rubber bumper sticker. I find this to be a nuisance as it makes the mod very tipsy when trying to stand it up. You shouldn't expect the device to stand upright with any rigidity what-so-ever.

I question VooPoo's advertisement on 3-4 days of vaping from a single battery charge using a 1000mAh internal battery. Between two full discharges using about 90% RDL vaping with the 0.7 ohm Argus Pod and 10% MTL using the 1.2 ohm Argus Pod, I hit 534 puffs which actually very, very good for a battery of this size. However, the average between these two discharges is 267 puffs which would mean they're estimating the average vaper to take less than 89 puffs per day for the battery to last 3 days, much less 4. My guess is that the average vaper is taking more than 87 puffs in a day, especially if they're vaping in RDL. For an MTL user using a high nicotine concentration juice, it miiiiiiight be possible to reach 3 days maximum, but I still think that's pretty far fetched. For the outliers that do maybe take 50 or so puffs in a single day, I could see 3-4 days of vaping from a single battery charge, but these situations are very likely to be few and far between. If this is the case, then why not advertise that it will do a maximum of 250 days if you take a single puff, every day? I just don't fully support VooPoo's advertised claims in many cases over many products, as they're often very far off from what is practical.

1678902743401.png

The UI is very simple and easy to use. The Argus G is fitted with the Gene.AI 1.2 chip which auto-detects which coil is detected and adjusts the wattage accordingly. This also changes the maximum wattage you're able to use based on the coil resistance. The default UI shows the wattage in large numbers, the battery status, the coil resistance in ohms (Ω), a 5-digit puff counter, and a symbol indicating whether or not your device is locked. When accessing the menu and then choosing to lock the device by clicking the fire button to cycle through the 3 available options, hold the fire button down when "Lock" is highlighted. The device will show a closed lock in the default UI and the fire button will no longer allow you to fire the device. For traveling and storage purposes, this is probably the best mode to be in if not powered down. You can still use the fire button to access the menu again using 5 quick clicks, but the device will not fire when it is locked.

Operation of the UI is as follows:

Power On - Press the button 5 times in a row.

Power Off - Press the button 5 times in a row to start the function menu, and keep pressing the button to select the power off option.

Wattage Power Adjustment - Press the button 3 times in a row.

Lock/Unlock - Press the button 5 times in a row to start the function menu, keep pressing the button to select the lock or unlock option. (Locks up automatically after 15 minutes of no vaping)

Five-digit puff recording & puff clear - Press the button 5 times in a row to start the function menu, and keep pressing the button to select the puff clear option.

Button ignition - Ignition over 5s will activate the lock protection.

I will note that a change has been made to rapid button presses in quick succession. VooPoo has a very fast firing chip, so in the past, clicking the button 5 times in rapid succession to either turn the mod off or to access menus, the mod would fire briefly for each and every click - rather annoying to say the least. Now, after the first click and any click after it in rapid succession will not fire the mod battery which is a very nice change. Hopefully one they will continue to implement in the future so it doesn't contribute to additional wear and tear on the coil when not actually vaping. A huge thumbs up for this added innovation!

1678905370646.png

You'll probably notice that the 0.7 and 1.2 ohm built-in coil "Argus Pods" look very much alike. They function just the same when it comes to refilling. Really, the only difference between them is when they're dropped into the mod battery and vaped. Based on the auto-setting visible in the Argus G UI, the 0.7 ohm Argus Pod sets itself at around 16W, and the 1.2 ohm Argus Pod sets itself at around 10W.

Both pods produce very good flavor, but with the added power in the Argus G over the Argus Pod SE, it brought a bit more flavor out of the 0.7 ohm Argus Pod. Between the 0.7 and 1.2 ohm pods, they're about equal in terms of which one I like better in the Argus G. The flavor is slightly better from the 1.2 ohm Argus Pod, but I've always felt that MTL vaping was a bit more laborous than RDL making the 0.7 ohm pod an overall smoother vape and the winner in this case.

For me, the perfect airflow was wide open for a tighter RDL vape. Unlike many "MTL" advertised products on the market, the Argus G performs a tight MTL when fully closed which is what I would call a "true MTL" airflow as it closely resembles a packed cigarette. The range of airflow is defintely one of the stronger reasons I'd recommend this product to a beginner vaper who's still trying to figure out the airflow that they like, as the Argus G does a very good job of hitting the full range of MTL and slightly into the RDL area of airflow.

The refill port very comfortably allows the use of a larger 100/120mL Chubby Gorilla-sized nozzle however, without an air vent of any sort, you may run into some issues with backflow if there's any liquid around the opening when squeezing the bottle. Also remember, air bubbles are NECESSARY and a GOOD thing. I often see posters on reddit asking if air bubbles are normal. The answer is YES - you're going to have problems if you don't see air bubbles after taking some puffs.

I will mention that I've not had the best luck with the Argus Pod and leaking. In only a few short weeks, the 0.7 ohm pod has shown small signs of leaking. The Argus Pod (non-SE) that I won back in November of 2022 in a giveaway ended up leaking quite a bit and ended up getting tossed. I'm not sure if there have been any changes to the pod between the release of the Argus Pod and Argus Pod SE, but they look and function identically which makes me thing there hasn't been any changes. If you do end up getting pods that leak, I'd suggest trying the removeable coil option shown below.

The Argus Pod also has a removeable ITO-M coil option called the "Empty Cartridge". I find this to be a bit confusing because when I hear empty cartridge, my immediate thought is that there's no juice in the pod. Although the Empty Cartridges and coils are sold separately, it does give those who are a bit more environmentally conscientious the ability to purchase the ITO-M replaceable coils instead of the entire built-in coil Argus Pods. Like pretty much any other drop-in coil system, make sure the flat sides of the coil line up with the pod. If the coil doesn't sit flush with the bottom of the pod, something isn't correct.

Be aware that the flange used in the removeable coil pods is different from the built-in Argus Pods and that pulling on the end with the arrow pointing toward it is the correct end to pull on. By pulling the other end out, it will be very difficult to push the tethered plug back into the very tiny hole in which it's mounted. Take it from someone that's already made this mistake, lol.

Both of these two versions of cartridges (built-in and empty pods w/ coils) are fully compatible with the ARGUS G, ARGUS POD, ARGUS P1, and ARGUS Z.

The ITO-M coil I received with the empty pod cartridge was the 0.5 ohm coil. In the Argus G, the 0.5 ohm coil brought out a noticeably warmer and airy vape than the 0.7 ohm Argus Pod. The actual flavor difference was almost indistinguishable. Unfortunately, I wasn't given enough time to fully test out the longevity of the ITO-M coils, so I cannot give you an estimated life expectency of these coils. There are also the ITO-M1 (0.7 ohm), ITO-M2 (1.0 ohm), and ITO-M3 (1.2 ohm) coils if you're looking for something more in line with an MTL vape. This is a pretty decent range of resistances for such a small device.

From Left to Right: Argus Z (no pod), Argus Pod SE, Argus Pod, and Argus G - all compatible with one another (not pictured - Argus P1)

-= Pros =-
• It's fairly small
• 7 Aesthetic options
• Very easy to use
• Functioning UI with a few options
• Wattage control
• Great battery life for 1000mAh, even for RDL
• Removeable coils using the empty cartridges available with the ITO-M coils
• Adjustable MTL airflow range nails tight MTL to a tigher RDL very well
• Auto-draw is hair-trigger
• Also has a fire button for if/when auto-draw gunks up
• Fire button doesn't fire when clicked repeatedly
• Both coils perform great
• Secure magnets

-= Cons =-
• Built-in Argus Pods seem to be about 50/50 in leaking

Rating:
8.5-9.0

Overall, the kit does a very good job of creating a rich tasting vape. Both coils perform quite well in the available range of airflows. Unfortunately, I haven't had the best luck with leaking with some of the Argus Pods which brings the overall rating down a bit. If you are looking for a small MTL to RDL device with good flavor, this is a great starter kit. I would give this a solid 9.0 to 9.5 if the Argus Pods weren't prone to leaking. I absolutely love the innovation in muting out repeated fire button clicks since this was always one of those things that bugged me when needing to fire the button to turn the device off. More recently, physical locking switches have cured me of this irk, but we have yet to see that on smaller pod devices such as the Argus G.

That about wraps up the review on VooPoo Argus G kit. If you have experiences to share or have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below. If you want to get a hold of me after this thread closes, please PM me with any inquiries you might have. Again, I recommend heading over to VooPoo's site to take a better look at this device. Thanks for reading, and take a gander at the Argus Pod SE Kit Review by yours truly, if you're looking for a similar device that's smaller and even simpler to operate.

Happy vape hoarding!

How to Fill iTank with Dropper Bottle?

Hi guys I just got my Vaporesso target 100 kit and I purchased an e liquid that is in a glass dropper bottle (it’s my time using this kind of bottle) and not the usual plastic bottles I’m used to… I realized the fill port is quite small and the tip of the dropper bottle barely fits in… Is there another way to fill the iTank with dropper bottles? Thank you so much in advance!

Reo Grand Mod parts

Hello!

I have a couple of Reos that I use on a regular basis. My Reo Grand that I use as a daily driver had an issue that I couldn’t have predicted. The contact firing pin/bar that touched the positive end happened to break. While I have a replacement pin, I realized it is my only replacement. I also only have one extra spring. I want to keep using these in the future and I am hoping to find a replacement part or rather a few extra. Does anyone know if there is an alternative place where I can get a couple springs and contact pins? I know it will be difficult, but I am hoping to prevent any future issues that will decommission them permanently.

VooPoo Argus Pod SE Kit | Reviews by Z-Lee

VooPoo Argus Pod SE Kit

1678806298872.png

Hello lovely people of ECF! Today I have the first of two pod products recently released by VooPoo. The Argus Pod SE kit is the newer version of the Argus Pod that was released a few months ago toward the end of 2022. The changes are rather subjective and I can't necessarily say they are better, but the kit overall seems to work rather flawlessly, never-the-less.

The slightly older Argus Pod has a display that allows the user to adjust wattage, see the battery percentage, the pod/coil resistance, the voltage output, and also a puff counter. The newer Argus SE did away with the display and now shows the battery status using 3 bars of LED on the side, instead. I suppose for the sake battery conservation, this would be a slight upgrade. In almost every other way, they are identical, including a small sliding switch that allows the user to adjust the airflow from a very tight MTL to a loose MTL airflow which is great to see.

I don't want to get ahead of myself here, so I want to first thank Freya from VooPoo for coordinating the product for this review. And as always, a reminder that this critique will be conducted in a fair and honest manner.

For a more comprehensive and interactive look at this device, I'd recommend you to head on over to VooPoo's Argus Pod SE page. Much of what you see below will be a very brief overlook of their page.

Basic Overview:

Color Options:

• Shiny Blue
• Shiny Orange
• Brown
• Red
• Black

Key Features VooPoo States:

• The Gorgeous Design Brings a Brilliant Appearance

Adopting the nanoscale lithography process, the shiny blue and shiny orange ARGUS POD SE are dynamic and gorgeous. The polished zinc body is natural and soft in lines and the color flows with light and shadow.

ARGUS POD Cartridges with ITO Atomization Technology Bring Delightful Taste

The four-hole airway inlet and airflow buffer make the taste soft and smooth. The four-hole structure firmly stores poorly atomized e-liquid and condensates. Meanwhile, the simple design as the invisible magnetic connection makes each insertion and removal easier. The delicate and ergonomic mouthpiece fits perfectly on the lips and maximizes vaping comfort.

Simpleness Makes Operation Easy, GENE.AI Intelligence Reassures Vaping

The auto mode of ARGUS POD SE is easy and starter friendly. The stepless airflow adjustment enables the swifts from loose MTL to tight MTL. The bottom-filling and full-view cartridge allows you to check the volume at any time without pulling it out. Adopting GENE.AI 1.2, ARGUS POD SE supports Max 18W power output and matches the appropriate wattage based on the coil resistance. The GENE AI 1.2 also provides six safety protections and reassures your every vaping.

1678806432114.png

Compatibility:

The Argus Pod SE kit comes with two pod cartridges that have coils built into them; one being 0.7 ohms and the other at 1.2 ohms. Sold separately, there are empty pod cartridges (pods that use removeable ITO-M coils), and all of these pods are compatible with the Argus Z, Argus Pod, Argus Pod SE, Argus G, and Argus P1 shown above.

1678806457636.png

Specs & Package Contents:

The only thing to really note here is that the Standard Edition, TDP Edition, and the US Edition are all identical being that this pod only holds 2mL of liquid.

Testing Results & Experiences:

1678806491412.png

The VooPoo Argus Pod SE kit comes packaged all nice and neat. There's plenty of cushion from damage if the package were to be tossed around during shipping for some odd reason. The kit itself is very simple, well laid out, and has everything needed to start vaping with the exception of e-juice making this a great starter kit.

As you can see above, I received a sample product, so what you may find in your package and your specific experiences may differ from what you read in this review.

1678806516118.png

The nanoscale lithography design I must admit is quite attractive. It's subtle, until you reflect some light onto it. This can appeal to those that like a more subtle design, and also those that like a flashier design.

Other than the USB Type-C charging port, the only other noticeable features on the exterior of the pod is the sliding airflow knob and the three LED bars that indicate the battery status briefly after each puff. These lights flash red when the battery fully drains. It takes about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes to fully recharge the internal 800 mAh battery from a dead status. A Type-C 3.0 QC cable can be used to recharge the device, but pass-through vaping is not available as is customary with most VooPoo devices. The battery vapes quite well during the last bar of remaining battery while using the 1.2 ohm coil. It won't perform nearly as well with the same low battery status and the 0.7 ohm coil.

There's a rubber sticker placed on the bottom of the battery, but I've been noticing in both the Argus Pod SE and the Argus G, that they're not placed squarely onto the bottom making it very difficult to get the device to stand up on its own without being extremely tipsy. The thought was there, but the execution was not. I feel like this wasn't really a necessary addition as the device is hardly heavy enough to be clunky when setting it down. You can adjust the sticker slightly by moving it around, but again, I don't feel like this was very necessary or a luxury.

The magnets seen in the top of the battery hold the pod in firmly enough to not worry about it popping out, but loose enough to easily remove the pod when needing to refill.

The Argus Pod SE utilizes the Gene.AI 1.2 chip which auto-detects the coil you're using and adjusts the wattage automatically. For those that just want to simply drop a pod in and vape, this kit will do the trick.

1678806626743.png

You'll probably notice that the 0.7 and 1.2 ohm built-in coil pods look very much alike. They function just the same when it comes to refilling. Really, the only difference between them is when they're dropped into the mod battery and vaped. Based on the auto-setting visible in the Argus G UI (the same chip used in the Argus G is also used in the Argus Pod SE), the 0.7 ohm coil sets itself at around 16W, and the 1.2 ohm coil sets itself at around 10W.

Both pods produce very good flavor, but for once I'd have to favor the 1.2 ohm coil over the 0.7 ohm coil. This is hardly ever the case for me since I favor RDL vapes over MTL. However, there's just something about the 1.2 ohm coil that strikes me as a tad bit more rich in flavor, and I like that.

I've been mostly using the 1.2 ohm Argus Pod in this device and if I had to guess how many puffs a full battery charge can put out, I'd say around 200 MTL puffs. If you use the 0.7 ohm coil, you can expect probably about half of that.

For me, the perfect airflow was just a tiny bit open from the fully closed airflow position. As an ex smoker, this very closely resembled a packed cigarette and what I would call a "true" MTL draw. Far too often with recent pod releases throughout the entire industry, the "MTL" (Mouth-to-Lung) airflow they advertise is actually closer to a tight RDL (Restricted-Direct-Lung) draw, and I find this way too airy for an MTL. The Argus Pod SE did a very good job on the airflow tightness as well as range for an MTL.

1678806658326.png

The Argus Pod also has a removeable ITO-M coil version, as well. Although the pod and coils are sold separately, it does give those who are a bit more environmentally conscientious the ability to purchase the ITO-M replaceable coils instead of the entire built-in coil pods. Like pretty much any other drop in coil system, make sure the flat sides of the coil end line up with the pod. If the coil doesn't sit flush with the bottom of the pod, something isn't correct.

Be aware that the flange used in the removeable coil pods is different from the built-in coil pods and that pulling on the end with the arrow pointing toward it is the correct end to pull on. By pulling the other end out, it will be very difficult to push the tethered plug back into the very tiny hole in which it's mounted. Take it from someone that's already made this mistake, lol.

Both of these two versions of cartridges (built-in and removeable coil pods) are fully compatible with the ARGUS G, ARGUS POD, ARGUS P1 and ARGUS Z.

The ITO-M coil I received with the empty pod cartridge was the 0.5 ohm coil. It vaped almost indistinctually from the 0.7 ohm built-in coil pod - maybe a slight bit warmer and more airy. However, the battery maxes out at 18W on a freshly charged battery, so you will experience a decrease in performance as the battery dies. My recommendation is to stick with the ITO-M1 (0.7 ohms), ITO-M2 (1.0 ohms), or ITO-M3 (1.2 ohms) coils when using the Argus Pod SE, if you choose to use the removeable coil pod.

VooPoo did state that the 0.5 ohm ITO-M0 coil is meant for the Argus G with a max power output of 25W, but I figured I'd give it a run to see how it performed. In this case, I would stick to VooPoo's recommendation on this.

From Left to Right: Argus Z, Argus Pod SE, Argus Pod, Argus G - all compatible with one another

-= Pros =-
• It's very small

• Removeable coil cartridges available for the ITO-M coils
• Adjustable MTL airflow range nails tight and loose MTL very well

• Secure magnets

-= Cons =-
• Built-in coil pods seem to be about 50/50 in leaking
• No button activation option
• No adjustable wattage

Rating:
8.0

Overall, the kit does a very good job of creating a rich tasting MTL vape, moreso the 1.2 ohm coil in my experience. Unfortunately, I haven't had the best luck with leaking with some of the built-in coil cartridges which brings the overall rating down a bit. If you are looking for a small MTL device with good flavor, this is a great starter kit. Let's just hope that you have a little better luck with the pods leaking than I did.

That about wraps up the review on VooPoo Argus Pod SE kit. If you have experiences to share or questions, feel free to leave a comment below. If you want to get a hold of me after this thread closes, please PM me with any inquiries you might have. Again, I recommend heading over to VooPoo's site to take a better look at this device. Thanks for reading, and take a gander at the Argus G Pod Kit Review by yours truly, if you're looking for a similar device.

VAPY Winter Time - Holiday

VAPY Winter Time - Holiday
Manufacturer: polish
Packaging: 10ml aroma in a 60ml bottle
Another promo product courtesy of JuicyVapour x GandalfLiquid, this time from the Winter series. According to the manufacturer's description, we get a "cocoa milk with soft banana and mint" flavour, which reinforces the dessert line. A pink transparent bottle, graphics of the flavours inside, a fresh and fresh-looking design characterise the finish. The scent is banana and a hint of cocoa, but the fruit is more pronounced. As soon as I saw the bottle, I thought of the little banana chocolate bars you can buy in the shops. But it has no menthol and is covered in chocolate instead of cocoa. On the inhale, you can smell a cool banana, which is quite delicious, and on the exhale, the cocoa and a sweet aftertaste emerge, which leaves with the mint.
The banana: ripe, strong flavour, dominant throughout the soup.
Cocoa: not chocolatey, a kind of dry cocoa powder without sugar. Mild, rather only noticeable on exhalation.
Menthol: just barely a cool sensation, more of a cool version, cool on the inside, sweet on the outside.
Banana is the lead note in this blend, complemented by a touch of cocoa sweetness. The minty banana would go on its own, but the cocoa adds a little spice. It takes a little getting used to the flavour, as the cocoa banana with mint might be a little unusual at first compared to the usual chocolate banana. It didn't work for me for all-day steaming, but that doesn't mean it's not good, in fact it's really nice to touch it occasionally when I want a tasty treat while lounging in my rocking chair.

Big Threat | COP10 Bureaucrats to Decide Future of Vaping

VAPY Autumn Time Cherry Gum

VAPY Autumn Time Cherry Gum
Manufacturer: polish
Polish.
I've brought a flavour from the autumnal blend created by our friends at Polish Vaper, or more precisely, I've received it for testing from JuicyVapour x GandalfLiquid, which will be a cherry chewing gum in autumnal garb. This is still a promotional product, not yet available for purchase in the shop. The manufacturer has done a series of all four seasons, mostly juicy fruits. The exterior is beautifully done, with the bottle and the inscriptions on it all in a transparent design, in colours that match the flavours. The smell is most similar to ball gum, and the fruit is also noticeable, which I think is a sweet cherry. When inhaled, the sweet chewing gum and then when exhaled, the spicy cherry is mixed in, which justifies the fruity taste in the scent. I can't really distinguish whether it's cherry or sour cherry, but it's more the latter. The proportions are nicely hit, both flavours can be picked out separately, which adds a plus to the aroma. A slight freshness can be detected, although there is no cooling in the product. The flavour is fragrant, aromatic and intense, with everything you need. It takes me back a bit to my childhood, I don't remember a cherry ball gag, I just remember something red. All in all, the ball gum feeling is quite well achieved, however, the fruit part of the gum I can't decide if it's cherries or sour cherries I got even after the end of the test. As I don't know the price if it will be marketed at all, but I would put it in the mid-range, as I've vaped worse and better in this flavour.
