I have been making my own e-cig juice for about the last 8 years. I have always used your standard 100 mg freebase nicotine (PG) base when making my juice.

I usually make the completed juice 45% PG / 55% VG and 15 mg nicotine strength ... Then 'Tootle Puffing' it with an old Kayfun Lite Plus V2 at 10.5 watts.

My questions:

1. Is there any benefit switching from freebase nic to 'salt' nic? (I would still make the completed juice 15 mg strength just like I did when using freebase nic base).

2. Would inhaling this 15 mg nic salt juice be a little less 'harsh' without as much 'throat hit' as when made with 15 mg nic freebase juice?

I ask that last question mainly because my son in law still smokes cigarettes ... I had him try some of my DIY juice made with the freebase nic, but he coughs too much while trying to inhale it. I am thinking that maybe 15 mg nic salt juice would be less harsh and maybe he wouldn't have this coughing problem.

Hello there,

I might be missing an obvious answer here, but I'm new to mixing and could use some help with the math with this, as I'm sure someone has run into this issue before.

I use a premixed 50/50 base with freebase nicotine included in the mix, and almost all the flavors I add have a PG base. I use a calculator within an Android app called "vape tool" (it's pretty much the same as you get with any of the web-based calculators). When I put in my recipe, it starts with a number for my base, then subtracts or adds some PG or VG to/from the base. Since I cannot remove PG/VG individually, what should the math look like?

I've been at least subtracting the PG part out (sometimes both) before adding anything. My thought here is the recipe is based on a certain base amount, and I want to stay true to that amount so the end result is true to what it should taste like. There is no way for the calculator to compensate for a base already set at a 50/50 ratio on any of the calculators I've found. I don't want the result to be too thin liquid or have it not taste right. I typically use an Xros 3 or Calliburn X now with a .08 coil (or something close) MTL.

I know I can either not remove any of the PG/VG base to begin with or add some straight VG at the end to make up for the amount of PG flavoring I put in, but wouldn't that dilute and change the final flavor I'm going for? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Exept the thelema has a c frame and q200 a battery door thats pretty much it, the newer mod is the centaurus one tho why ditch the c frame =/..

I have been vaping for years using vapor4life high resistance 3.2 ohms new menthol 2.4%, it is a battery and a cartridge. The company no longer has any, so my question is, can I refill the empty cartridges ( they are not really empty?) as the cotton probably still has some flavor in them, I am trying to find a menthol type taste that has no tobacco taste at all in it. Hey I decided to make an account because I'm in dire need for help. My gear: Ijoy Captain PD270 with Nautilus GT plus Voopoo Vinci 2. I'm using 2s mesh coils with nautilus at 15-20w and pnp-tm2 coils with voopoo at 5-10w. I'm using hale vaping pro salts(50/50 10mg), I prime my coils, fill the tanks and wait 20-30min before taking a hit but after 200-300 puffs I can taste burning every now and then and the taste is no longer there. Like 2 puffs are fine but third is a burn. It's a hit and miss and I don't know what to do. Sometimes I would open the tanks and see bubbles coming from the holes that lead to the coils I even looked at coils if they are burnt, gunked up or dry but no they look fine.
