First time buyer help

Hey, i hope i’m posting this in the right place. so i’ve decided to get off disposables and save some money in the long run by getting something that would hopefully last.

I’m new to this and know there’s a .... ton of mods and things people like to get but i need some advice on what to go with.

I love seeing those RGB lighting ones that people have and that’s mainly what i’m looking for because of the aesthetic but if there isn’t anything that will last long with that feature then i’ll take what i can get.

As i was researching i found some other ones i thought looked interesting.

What is the expected shelf life of DIY mixes?

Hi guys,

I would appreciate it if you could answer the following question for me as the answers will have a bearing on the quanity of supplies I order.

What are the shelf life expectancy of base liquids, flavour concentrates in 50/50 & also nic shots/salts?

Many thanks for any and all advice given.

LQDR - SHOTS OVER BAGHDAD – DRAGON

LQDR - SHOTS OVER BAGHDAD - DRAGON
Producer: Poland
Where to buy: juicyvapour.com
Packaging: 40 ml 70VG/30PG flavour and base liquid in a 60 ml bottle
After the recent Kiwon kiwi soup, I came across another product from the Shots Over Baghdad range, a blend of lemon, strawberry and dragon fruit with the usual sophisticated look and flavour. The nose is characterised by a strong lemon and dragon fruit cocktail, which could be a harbinger of a fresh and flavour-rich steam when used. The base flavour will be lemon, supported by strawberry and dragon fruit. On the inhale, you can taste the tart lemon, and on the exhale, the cactus character of the dragon fruit and the spicy flavour of the sweet strawberries in the finished soup. All three flavours can be felt separately, almost pushed to the max for intense impact. There is no cooling in the product, but the acidity and tartness of the lemon make it the perfect refreshing effect. Once again, the producer LQDR has done well with this true summer flavour, a real flavour bomb that almost bursts in the mouth like a fruity champagne candy. Sweet and tart at the same time, the fruit is delicious, and considering the price, which landed at under 2,000 ft, well... I don't think you'll find a similar treat on offer in this price range. I'll be bringing you a preview of the Ice Peak line soon, hoping to see this manufacturer's products make a mark in the cooler line.

Innokin ArcFire │Review by Ben28 │

Innokin ArcFire

Hello ECF Forum, today I bring you a new Innokin pod-type device, which has an elegant appearance as well as a more fun one. This device is recommended for someone who is transitioning from smoking to vaping. Let's start with some photos provided by the brand, as usual in my reviews, without first giving a big thank you to Alisa from Innokin for sending me this device.

Disclaimer; Nobody or any brand is paying me to do this review, all you will see are my most sincere opinions, both the positive and the negative.

Captura de pantalla 2023-09-11 145652.jpg

Let's start talking about the features of the product, I will make a table so that everything looks simpler and clearer.

Arc-Coil Mesh Coil
No Leaking
Elegant Design
Fast Charging Battery
Power Indicator
650mAh Battery

The brand also announces some specs that I will leave in a table.

Size22.5×18.2×112.9mm
Battery650mAh (internal)
DisplayLED indicators
Output3.4V constant
Type C USB Charging0.75A charge rate
Resistance Range0.8ohm minimum
PodsCompatible with Arcfire pods 1.2ohm & 0.8ohm
Pod Capacity3ml (Standard) / 2ml (TPD)
ActivationDraw Activated
On/Off ButtonYes

The brand presents the product with an elegant design, which in my opinion, I love and it is also presented in 6 colors, 3 elegant and 3 more daring and fun. I'll leave them listed from left to right in the table below.

Stellar Black
Nebula Grey
Galactic Silver
Cosmic Pink ( Fade )
Ocean Horizon ( Fade )
Green Forest ( Fade )

Innokin presents three LEDs on the front of the product, which are battery indicators and in addition, at the bottom of the device we have a light ring that indicates when we are taking a puff.

3 LEDs100%-65%
2 LEDs65%-15%
1 LEDLess than 15%

Innokin also presents us with different types of PODs, I will leave the list below.

KS3083mL0.8Ω
KS2122mL1.2Ω
KS2082mL0.8Ω

-/ Packaging \-

Let's start with what we really like, the review, first we'll start with what's in the box.

MergedImages (1).png

On the front we can see the brand, the device, its color, capacity and ohms of the pod and also a small warning about nicotine which is in Spanish because it is the country where I reside. On the back we also see the brand and name of the device in addition to the contents of the package and certain ways to contact the brand in case we have any problems. I will leave a table below with what the device brings.

1x ArcFire Pod Device
1x ArcFire KS212
1x Warning Booklet
1x Quick Guide
1x C-Type Cable ( Not listed I do not know why )

Once opened, the first thing we see is the device fitted into a custom-made hole, underneath the box opens and we find a type-c cable and two guides, a quick guide of the device and one on battery maintenance and care. As you can see, Innokin sent me the Cosmic Pink and Green Forest, colors that I honestly love but that of course will not influence the final opinion of the product. I will thoroughly review the Green Forest one in this case.

-/ Device Inspection \-

IMG_8763.jpg

On the front of the product, at the top, we have a small airflow hole, which cannot be adjusted in any way. If we continue going down we find a button, this is used to turn the device on or off by pressing it 3 times, it is not used to puff, this device is activated by auto-draw. A little further down we find the 3 battery indicator LEDs and the light ring at the bottom, it cannot be seen in this image because it was impossible for me to catch the LEDs on, sorry.

IMG_8765.jpg

IMG_8768.jpg

IMG_8766.jpg

Let's talk about the pod, in this case it is the KS212, with a capacity of 2mL and a resistance of 1.2Ω, they sent this version because it is the one that complies with the TPD, that's why you see the piece of rubber at the top of the POD . On the front of the POD we can see that the brand, model, capacity and Ω appear. At the back we find the little flap through which we put the liquid, the hole is more than large and closes well, no leaks at least for now. Very important, the POD comes with a sticker that must be removed before vaping.

IMG_8772.jpg

IMG_8771.jpg

As you can see in the photo, the pod is connected to the device by magnets, I must admit that it stays very well fixed and has no play. Something important is that the pod only fits in one position, the Innokin logo of the POD must be aligned with the logo of the device otherwise it will not fit.

IMG_8764 (1).jpg

The charging port is below, which is quite convenient but I much prefer it to be on the front, this is subjective. The charge is at 750mA/DC5.0V which is a bit low considering that many pods double this figure, plus it takes approximately 45 minutes to fully charge.

-/ Lets Vape \-

In this section I will test the device and give my feelings. The first thing to do is fill the liquid tank and leave it for 5 minutes.

After waiting that time I decided to take a puff, the flavor is acceptable and the amount of vapor is very good, much higher than expected. In my opinion, I think it could be much better in terms of flavor but for a starter POD type device it is more than enough.

I only tested it with the 1.2Ω pod since it only comes with that one in the package, we'll talk about this later.

One thing I don't like about this pod is the 2mL capacity, today there are devices with 3.5mL or even 5mL. Yes, it is true that in my case it is limited by the TPD but it is something that I had to include since I have to fill in the device frequently.

As for the battery, it lasts a long time for someone who doesn't chain vape.

Condensation issue, the truth is that I have not even seen this POD so 10/10 for Innokin

-/ Pros And Cons \-

Pros
Cons
Begginer Friendly
Only 1 Pod Included
Quality Materials
Weak Flavor
Good Vapor
Long Lasting Coils
Pocket Sized
Good For MTL Vapers
Very Elegant
Auto Draw

-/ Conclusion \-

The Innokin ArcFire is a very attractive and elegant device, perfect for people starting out in vaping and who like to smoke MTL. Even though I'm not a big fan of that style of vaping, I liked it anyway. I would change some things, such as the issue that only 1 POD comes, it can burn, break or know that, also, if you have just bought the product you would like to try both to see which one you decide on. What I would also perhaps change or improve is the flavor with the 1.2Ω, I have not tried the 0.8Ω one so I will not comment on that in this case.

I would like to thank everyone who is reading this and Alisa from Innokin for sending me the product for review!

That was the entire review, I hope you liked it, I loved doing it to be honest, any question or doubt, even constructive criticism, is accepted in the comments, have a good time vaping!

INNOKIN ARCFIRE POD SYSTEM review by hittman

Hello and welcome back for yet another review. Today I will be doing my best to provide you with a fair and honest review on the Innokin Arcfire pod system that was sent to me by Innokin. The Arcfire offers a 650mah internal battery with a charging rate of .75A/5V. It has a rated maximum output of 14.5 watts which I am assuming is what you should expect with the optional .8 ohm pod. The Arcfire comes with only one 1.2 ohm 3ml pod which is rated for 10 watts. There are actually four different pods available but really only two different resistances but two are 3ml like the ones I received and the other two are 2ml to accommodate TPD regulations. The Arcfire does have a fire button but can also be used as an auto draw device. However there isn’t an adjustable airflow on this one. I personally like to have the option of airflow adjustment.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Arcfire is what I have become used to after seeing very similar packaging on the Klypse Zip which I reviewed recently. Innokin has committed themselves to using as much recyclable packaging materials as possible. For this reason there is not the usual plastic wrapper covering the boxes for the Arcfire. I received the Nebula Grey and Stellar black versions as samples for this review.

The front of the package has a nice color picture of the actual device contained inside. The Innokin and Arcfire names are located near the top of the face with the color version and the rating of 3ml/1.2 ohm printed in smaller font near the bottom. The back side of the box once again has the Arcfire name printed but in smaller font. It is for sale in the U.S. which is most likely due to the fact that it comes with a 3ml pod and 2ml is the TPD limit. Also a contents list is listed. I personally don’t care for the current trend of only including one pod in a kit. This one follows that trend and only comes with one 1.2 ohm Arcfire pod. It’s my opinion that every pod kit should come with two pods in case one is faulty. The Arcfire pod kit comes with the device, one pod, user guide, and a USB-C charging cable.

1694396580551.png

1694396609721.png

The Arcfire pod cartridge comes pre-installed in the Arcfire device but has a sticker covering the contacts to avoid accidental firing before filling the pod. The bottom of the pod has three silver magnets strategically placed that hold the pods in very securely. So securely in fact that sometimes it’s a little hard to pull the pod out for refilling. The 1.2 ohm pod that is included is clearly labeled on one side with the Innokin and Arcfire names as well as the coil resistance and the 3ml liquid capacity. The 3ml capacity is a nice improvement over the standard 2ml pods we usually see on most pod devices. However, the user manual suggests keeping the pod at least 1/3 full which means you’re still refilling the pod every 2ml of liquid used.

The fill port is located in the flat side of the pod opposite of the side with the labeling printed on it. There is an arrow on the molded rubber plug indicating where to lift the plug for filling. The opening is large enough to accommodate the tip of a 60ml gorilla bottle. The fill port is located near the center of the pod and with it on the flat side I find it rather awkward to fill. I personally don’t like the location of the fill port on this pod. Since the pod is tinted I had to pay close attention while filling with adequate lighting to avoid overfilling. Once filled, the pod will only go into the battery portion one way due to the molded portion that sticks out a little on one side. If you look closely at the last picture below you can see how there is a lip that sticks out a little from the body of the pod.

1694396666681.png

1694396692238.png

1694396719366.png

1694396748101.png

The Arcfire is a really nice looking pod device. It just screams quality when you hold it in your hand. I’m not surprised since when I think of Innokin, I think of quality made products. One side of the mod has the Innokin name etched into the body while the other side has the Arcfire name.

1694396800789.png

The pod opening has the usual two gold colored spring loaded contacts the transfer power to the coil in the pod. It also has matching magnets like the pod to hold the pod in place very securely. There is literally no chance of the pod coming out accidentally.

The USB-C charging port is located on the bottom of the Arcfire. It only has a .75A charging rate which is a little low in my opinion. So you’re looking at 45-50 minutes to charge the 650mah battery completely. There is a lighted ring on the bottom of the Arcfire that illuminates when taking a puff or when charging. There are also three single LED lights on the side with the power button to indicate battery level.

1694396881499.png

1694396897210.png

r37eOTx.jpg

60HlbPj.jpg

The side with the power button has a single airflow inlet above the power button. To turn the Arcfire on/off it takes three presses of the fire button. It really isn’t used for anything else so I’m a little surprised that a power button was included in the design.

QDpfwMx.jpg

FINAL THOUGHTS:

With the pod market being flooded constantly, it becomes more and more difficult for a pod device to stand out. I feel like Innokin did this by sticking with quality materials and giving the user the feeling that they are holding an expensive item. That being said, the proof is in the pudding and a pod can be the best looking/designed one ever but if it doesn’t vape well then it might as well be a paperweight.

Both of the kits that I received only came with one 1.2 ohm pod each. That’s a definite con in my book. Especially since there is a .8 ohm pod available for purchase separately. The kit should have come with one of each. Innokin did send a two pack of the .8 ohm pods for my review and I am glad that they did. I personally didn’t care for the flavor production on the 1.2 ohm pod. I made myself run five fills through it just to see if the flavor would improve with use but it really didn’t. I used a jelly donut mix in it that I’ve been vaping for a few weeks in a tank and I could barely tell it was the same mix once in the pod.

I was very grateful to have the .8 ohm pods that Innokin sent with the Arcfire samples. The flavor was a bit light at first but after about 1.5 fills the flavor improved. I was running a creamy custard tobacco mix in this one and it delivered respectable flavor for a pod. Not the best I’ve tried but it was decent. I felt like this one could have really shined with another 3-4 watts of output.

Overall, the Innokin Arcfire delivers decent flavor and vapor while having a really nice physical appearance. It’s honestly just not a good fit for my vaping style. I do keep a couple pods in my rotation but don’t see this one taking the place of either of those.

I’d like to thank Innokin for sending the Arcfire Pod kits and spare coils for this review. Thanks as always to the readers for making it to the end of another review. Below is a link to the Innokin website where you can see the Arcfire as well as the other quality made products that they manufacture.

INNOKIN ARCFIRE POD KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello and welcome back for today's review of the Arcfire refillable pod kit from Innokin. The Arcfire is a very simple device having only a power button to turn the device on/off which makes it a auto draw only device with power output done automatically depending on which pod is used. Airflow is fixed having no adjustability either, I'll tell you how all these factors perform later on but first lets see some of the features of the Arcfire from it's manufacturer Innokin.

HOW TO GUIDE

1694371972990.png

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The Arcfire comes as a simple box in a box design, the inner box slides out with the device resting in it's on tray, inside the tray/box is a White envelope containing a charge cord, safety guide and the owners manual that Innokin calls the quick guide. Only one pod is supplied with this kit and it's a 1.2Ω mesh, a 0.8Ω mesh pod is available but sold separately. Innokin sent a box of the 0.8Ω mesh pods for review as well. The fist device I opened was the solid colored Grey one which has a matt finish and looks nice. The 2nd device is a stunning color Innokin calls Cosmic Pink which actually looks like a light colored purple that gradients to a Blue color, both have a nice metallic appearance and are very light to hold as well as being shirt pocket friendly with no pocket sag.

Chessmen Cookies + VPIC (Vanilla Pudding Ice Cream)

SSA Crumbly Cookie 1.5%
FA Vanilla Cookie 1.5%
FA Cookie 0.8%
FLV Vanilla Pudding 1.8%
SSA Ice Cream Vanilla 0.7%
SSA Clotted Cream 0.5%

Optional: 0.5% FA Butter / if more of a buttery note is desired

Steep time = 4 weeks

Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies are an awesome tasting butter cookie with an almost shortbread cookie texture. I've always loved their rich, melt-in-your-mouth buttery flavor.

Chessmen cookies were the inspiration for what I had in mind when I started working on this mix. I tried a few different cookie flavor combos before settling on SSA CC, FA VC and FA Cookie = the cookie base. Together they make a powerhouse butter cookie (one that can easily be used for other ideas).

SSA Crumbly Cookie is just an excellent cookie flavor. FA Vanilla Cookie, also excellent, added the buttery goodness. FA Cookie delivers the baked cookie edges.

I wanted a creamy vanilla pudding ice cream. After experimenting with a couple different IC's I settled on SSA ICV. At a lower percentage it still delivers an IC note. I didn't want the ice cream to overtake the lovely notes found in FLV VP.

FLV VP and SSA ICV were excellent together, but, I felt they were missing something to boost the creaminess I was after. SSA Clotted Cream totally turned this into the creamy vanilla pudding IC I was going for. Those three flavors together make a wonderful VPIC and one that could be used with other bakery bases.

Also made this using 0.5% FA Butter for a brighter buttery note. That was very smooth!!!

It's a very tasty butter cookie vanilla pudding ice cream.

I also made this mix with 2.5% WF Pudding Milk Chocolate for a cookie with a chocolatey vibe. WF PMC totally delivered a light tasting chocolate note. It also boosted the overall creaminess of the vanilla pudding ice cream.

I am 100% confident this mix will work with a fruit or two. A nut flavor? Yes, absolutely.
