I have to tell that I was thrilled to receive a full size mod and tank combo for a change of pace from the many pod kits. Even though the X-Priv Plus is a full size mod it's rather compact in size, not a lot but enough to really appreciate the size difference. The TF-D Subtank in the kit has a 5.5ml capacity and uses coils from the D-Series.

The X-Priv Plus runs on replaceable dual 18650 batteries and has no physical buttons because it's a touch screen for adjustments with a firebar, I really like firebars and the firebar on the X-Priv fires any place you press it beit top,middle or bottom. This ia a wattage only device with a maximum power output of 225 watts plus this device has very noticeable haptic feedback in sound and feel. You get 3 different display screen themes to choose from as well, there's a lot to get to so let's get started.

Texas wants to ban flavors, this bill will eliminate all products from shelves aside from those authorized by FDA and owned by Big Tobacco.

H.B. 3772 - Establishes a regulatory framework for e-cigarettes containing nicotine,

regulations, while prohibiting the sale of non-compliant products and imposing penalties
for violations, with full implementation by 2026.

I’ve used the original Nautilus Minis as the mainstay of my vaping for nearly 10 years now and they are still going just fine, so it came as rather a shock to my aged system after I broke one, to find them now listed as “out of production” earlier this year.

OK I’ve still got 13 of them, including the first two I ever bought. and they’re still going strong and I’ve near enough 10 years worth of coils for them, but we live in uncertain times - there is a growing tide of opinion against vaping, a vape tax is going to hit us next year in the UK, and the China/US tariff wars could cause a shortage of supplies even here - so once again it’s Stocking Up Time.

I’d tried a Nautilus 3 about a year ago, but found at that stage it didn’t do it for me, so I set about acquiring a Nautilus GT.

Now, IMHO the GT is an ugly looking brute with its dustbin (“ trash can,” across the pond) or garden incinerator styling, has “pass me the magnifying glass” air control holes, and a fiddly top filling system, until you get used to it.

I also found that some of my Innokin mods would not accept that there was a GT onboard even though the 510 pin on the tank protruded every bit as much as on an original Nautilus Mini.

All that said, once I got the hang of the thing, set the airflow fine, and replaced the sub ohm coil with a 1.6 Ohm it produced a very satisfying flavoursome vape with my usual 16 strength menthol chill juice firing at 8 Watts.

So much so that I decided to buy another three GTs which I managed after working my way through quite a lot of sites, which again featured the dreaded words “Out of Stock, “ Discontinued” or “Out of production.”

The GT is a heavy tank so it can be knocked over quite easily if mounted on a smaller mod like an iStick 30w. Many comments on forums various say it’s prone to leaking after filling, but I’ve always had the habit of holding any top filled tank tip downwards after filling and closing for a moment, so that may be why I haven’t had that problem.

As I wanted another full set of Nautilus tanks I decided to give the Nautilus 3 another chance.

The UK is still within the TPD rules and the big problem I found the last time I tried a 3 was its liquid capacity. As sold the tank” glass” ( actually plastic ) is inordinately thick walled and you cannot get even 2 mils into it, so you seem to be constantly refilling the thing,

However I found a seller offering “Fat Boy” replacement glasses as well as tanks, which I fitted to the two tanks I’d bought, and changed the coils to 1.6 ohm s before even trying vaping them, and I have to say my impressions of it last year have been proven to be wrong.


Again it took me a wee while before I got an air flow setting I liked, but once I’d got that sorted I can honestly say it’s suiting me fine as an MTL vape.

Like the GT it’s a heavy tank, and has the garden incinerator styling, though more elegantly done than the GT - so the two I have so far have earned their Right of Residence with me and I’ll get a third one next payday.
