Hello everyone, I have been away from building my own coils and both regulated and mechanical mods for about 4 years due to mental illness, but am recovering now and building my own coils and doing my own Eliquid again.

During this time my collection of 52 mods just sat untouched, and I am going through them all to get them working again.

I am now trying to get the AV Able back to its former glory, but I can not fully disassemble the mod. I can unscrew the bottom of the fire button and remove the magnets, but the section of the fire button that actually connects to the tube is so corroded it is stuck fast.

I have tried using rubber gloves for extra grip, but it just won't budge. I am currently soaking the mod in boiling water to see if this makes it expand and with rubber gloves I will be able to get it apart?

Does anyone have any tips that I can try to get this mod apart, so I can properly clean the copper parts of the mod internally and get it working?

I have included a photo of the inside of the firing button so you can have an idea how dirty it has became, I really want to save this mod so thank you for the help!

1. Remove all the stickers you see on and around the pod.

1. Remove the silicon stopper in between the two pod sections. One section (upper) has visible e-liquid inside and the mouthpiece, and the other section (bottom) has visible e-liquid-soaked cotton inside, with two pins sticking up.

Hey , im new to this forum, im a 3d printing hobbyist and trying to make a smoke machine for cosplay just like costronica. Im using a 21 guage nichrome wire, about 5cm in length and im sending input voltage of 3.7v. its burning so slowly. I tried giving voltage 7.4v and the coil burnt. Any advice how much voltage is the ideal voltage for the coil?

The vuse alto ain’t nothing special, you can buy em anywhere. I like the small pod systems and the alto is good enough for now. Although I might just change it up to a refillable pod system in the near future. But my main gripe with most pod systems is the mouthpiece. They’re not bad but not great and I got all these drip tips from my mod days. So on a whim I contacted an etsy 3d designer who was making caps and cases for ecig’s. And asked him if he could whip me up a 510 drip tip adapter for the vuse alto.

And it turned out great. I don’t know if this is anyone else’s thing, it’s certainly a little ocd on my part. But what the heck, it’s nice to have options. And if anyone else is looking for something like this, or has some other idea of their own. Contact MOODY3D4U at etsy, or whoever, or make it yourself. I hope it’s okay I give him a shout out, I’m not getting any money for it. Just happy this little pipe dream came true and wanted to put this out there.

Do any of you vape 100% VG? If so, how has that changed the way you feel during/after vaping?Did you start 100 VG because of a PG allergy or for another reason?

What's your ideal device and wattage for that for that type of juice?

I'm going to be trying some 85/15 for the first time and want to eventually try 100 VG and was wondering what's everyone's experience with it. I don't have a PG allergy, not that I know of, but I do get a little more tired than I'd like to when vaping, so I was thinking of changing the VG/PG ratio to see if that helps at all.

I know everyone's different, so I'm not expecting just one answer, more so wanting to know overall what the community thinks.
