Indianapolis is in the process of getting a new trash removal provider. Last month they came round and delivered a new gray bin with a list of instructions taped to the lid. The next pickup day they emptied both the old blue bin and the new bin. Another week and they picked up the old blue bin.
Not a complicated process really. But our local ND site went crazy. There were dozens of threads about it, some of them really long. People were panicking all over town. The new bins were smaller, no they weren't, just a slightly different shape. They left a new bin, what am I supposed to do now, there were detailed instructions taped to the lid of the new bin. They came in my driveway and took the old bin which is my property, trespassing and theft, no it wasn't your property dumazz. There was a list of rules attached to the new bin like everything has to be in bags and no loose yard waste. How am I supposed to put fallen branches in plastic bags, that one had 70 aggrieved messages. Guess what, the new company has the same rules as the old company literally word for word. Etc. You could find all the rules and answers on the websites of the old company and the new company and the City website.
The amount of stupid out there has no limits.
