VooPoo VRIZZ 2 - Review by Ben28

VooPoo VRIZZ 2
VooPoo VRIZZ 2 is the name of the device I'm bringing you today. It's a POD-type device, very similar to a disposable but clearly is not, whose objective is to try and facilitate the step from the aforementioned disposables to PODs. If you recall, the VRIZZ came out some time ago, so in this review we are going to see what has changed and how they have done it.

Thanks in advance to VooPoo for making this review possible; you can visit their website and learn more about the VRIZZ 2.

Let's briefly talk about the packaging. As you can see, VooPoo has changed it due to its 8th anniversary. Now the predominant colors are yellow and black. We can observe the brand and model of this device at the top. In the center, we observe a direct image, which in this case matches the color of this unit. It is also indicated that it has 15mL capacity. Furthermore, we observe the 8, referencing the anniversary in the background of this front part.

On the back of the packaging, we can first observe all the contents of the box:
  • 1* VRIZZ 2
  • 1* VRIZZ Cartridge V2 0.7 Ω | 0.4 Ω (15mL)
  • 1* User Manual
We are also shown some contact addresses, some logos, and some warnings.

From this image, I show you the area of the screen, the lanyard attachment, and the button for changing modes. Let's start by talking a bit about the materials used for the construction of this device. In this specific edition and three others, the construction materials are (synthetic) leather and polycarbonate; however, in the others, the leather part is not present and is replaced by one made of Aluminum alloy. In general, it is a relatively large device, mainly due to the cartridge capacity. It is quite a bit larger than a BP Mods Warhammer, for example (a mod I use daily).

Now, from this area, as I mentioned before, you can see the lanyard attachment; it is like a small clip that is pressed at the top and opens. We insert the lanyard and can hang it around our neck. However, this VRIZZ 2 does not come with the lanyard included, which I am not entirely convinced about, because what would it cost to add it to the box contents?

Well, moving down, we find the screen, which we will talk about in more depth later, and finally, we find the button, useful for switching between ECO, NORMAL, and TURBO modes.

WhatsApp Image 2025-10-19 at 22.09.22 (3).jpeg

On the screen, we find simple information ordered from top to bottom:
  • Battery percentage.
  • Dual mesh or single mesh use (I will talk about this in the next paragraph).
  • Vaping mode indicator.
Well, if we use the ECO mode, we will be alternatively using the 0.7 Ω coil and the 0.4 Ω coil, perhaps a bit low for nicotine salts but it might be sufficient if we don't use a very high concentration. If we use the NORMAL or TURBO mode, we will be using both coils simultaneously.

Is it noticeable when vaping? Yes, of course it is noticeable, but it's not as exaggerated as VooPoo advertises. I think it's a good feature, of course, but it's not extremely useful and the difference is not notable enough to be essential. I must say that the battery saving is quite noticeable.

WhatsApp Image 2025-10-19 at 22.09.23.jpeg

If we talk about the cartridge, we can say that it has an exorbitant capacity; it holds 15mL of liquid, which can last a very long time, and I assure you of that. To refill it, we must open the silicone flap located on the bottom. In this case, VooPoo offers the market this 0.4Ω | 0.7Ω cartridge, the 0.4Ω single mesh cartridge, and the 0.7Ω single mesh cartridge. I must say that the drip tip is really comfortable; it is small and perfectly molds to the lips.

As for flavor and vapor, we will discuss that later in the 'Vaping Time' section.

WhatsApp Image 2025-10-19 at 22.09.23 (1).jpeg

On the bottom of the device, we can find the air intake and the charging port. Regarding the air intake, it is composed of 8 small and completely identical holes and can be fully closed. I can affirm that it is not a device for MTL; it is for RDL. It is not capable of providing a draw so tight as to be fully satisfactory for MTL.

As for the charging port, a current of 1.2A/5V is used, slightly higher than that of the VRIZZ and somewhat noticeable. This is in addition to the fact that it uses a new, larger 1350mAh battery, compared to the 800mAh battery of its little brother.

Vaping Time & Conclusion
Let's move on to the vaping test. As you know, VooPoo is known for creating cartridges and coils that produce very good flavor, and the VRIZZ 2 is no exception. The flavor of this cartridge is good, although I don't notice much difference between the simultaneous or alternative dual coil use, only in terms of power. As for vapor production, remember that in TURBO mode it is capable of reaching 30W, so it is relatively high.

Regarding the feel in the hand, it is a slightly larger device than I expected, especially compared, for example, to the Vaporesso Eco Nano; however, the battery size and the cartridge capacity must be taken into account. Something I don't like is that in this leather version, a very plasticky feel in the hand is noticeable, which is not very pleasant, and I don't know what it will be like in the Aluminum alloy version.

Is it an improved version of the VRIZZ? Yes, of course it is. It comes with a larger battery capacity, a higher power limit, a new dual mesh cartridge, better airflow regulation, and slightly faster charging.

I think it's a good device, especially considering and believing that the main objective is to create the transition from disposables to POD systems.

Why not just replace them with 4’ pickets. If I remember correctly, they were less than $2 each.
It's a thought. I'll get down to Lowes and see what the prices look like. It really took a huge amount of time to cut up the large pickets in two directions then shape the tops.

FINAL IMPRESSION

I think Voopoo did a very nice job with the Vrizz 2, I liked the original very much but like this one even more. The flavor is very good when using either turbo or normal mode but in the eco mode it drops off in my opinion.

Using both halves of the coil really made a difference to me, also the improved airflow selector works great giving a semi loose MTL when closed down to a rather tighter RDL vape when fully opened up,
Airflow is smooth with no chop or slop to it.

Having a large lightly tinted pod is also a big plus requiring fewer fill ups while being able to view the juice level easily. I had no problem as far as comfort of the mouthpiece either.

I like how lightweight the device is as well as being a single button only device that is only used to change power modes, the auto draw works just fine for my style of vaping. I really like the appearance of the device as well ( VERY CLASSY APPEARANCE ).

I would like to thank Voopoo for sending the Vrizz 2 for the purpose of my review and I want to thank all of you that read my reviews as well.

THANK YOU

The 15ml large pod connects to the device as most devices like this do by way of magnets that hold the pod in place very well. For safety concerns Voopoo places a large plastic sticker across the bottom of the pod so it can't be vaped until the sticker is removed.

On 1 side of the pods bottom is the airflow inlet tube that's rather large while the pods fill port is located on the other side across from it, ohm's load for the single portion (0.7Ω) as well as dual portion (0.4Ω) are on the rubber fill plug.

I like that there is only 1 button to deal with and that's for changing power modes of which there are 3 to choose from ( ECO MODE 15 WATTS ) - ( NORMAL MODE 22 WATTS ) - TURBO MODE ( 30 WATTS ). To use the dual function of the coil ( TOP & BOTTOM ) you must select either normal or turbo mode because the eco mode only uses half of the coil. There are 2 half circles around the screen where atomizer is illuminated, both light up in normal and turbo modes but only half the circle in eco mode.

VOOPOO VRIZZ 2 POD MOD REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello folks and welcome back for today's review of the next generation in the Vrizz family. The upgrades on the Vrizz 2 offer a better vaping experience. A large 1350 rechargeable internal battery powers the device with a updated airflow control. There are 3 power modes to choose from, with a large 15ml pod and it also has a lanyard connection for those that use them. The coil inside the pod is a dual mesh that can be used in the single mode of operation saving battery life if you wish to do so.

FIRST IMPRESSION

Packaging is very simple for the Vrizz 2 having the device resting in a plastic cut out with the user manual tucked in behind it.

The device looks great with leather covering the sides and the spine has it going halfway up to just under the juice window.

I find the weight to be on the lighter side but still feels like it built very well. The airflow is on the bottom with more airflow options than the original Vrizz. The USB-C is also on the bottom so the device needs to be laid down to charge.

As I always do before starting a review I wanted to charge the device to full capacity, it was shipped with a 70% charge and it took 20 min to fully charge to 100%.

There is a nice large juice viewing window on the spine that's lightly tinted which I appreciate. On the front of the device is where the lanyard connection is in a carabiner style.

Random DIY mixing and More

I got on a fruit flavor gig some time back. Now I'm bored with it. I decided to keep 3 of them. Blackberry, blueberry, and mixed fruit. To make it a bit easier I started looking through old recipes. Made a bottle of Earl Grey last week, it takes a good steep so I won't be trying it for a while. Good thing about old recipes is the ingredients are all sitting in the box. Couple more I'm looking at. On the lookout for new recipes as well.

I have a job to do. I enclosed a section of the yard so the dogs could go outside, the fence is only 30" high because the dogs are small. That was a long time ago and the pickets are rotting away and need replacing. I made them from full size 6' treated pickets cut into quarters. That was a lot cheaper than buying precut small pickets. Some of the horizontal 2X4's need replacing as well but the posts are still fine. I might have left it a little late in the year. Maybe just cut the new pickets over the winter. It's a long fence so a lot of cutting.
Why not just replace them with 4’ pickets. If I remember correctly, they were less than $2 each.
