I didn’t get the boards because we went to Menards and I didn’t want to have to drive around to their outdoor lumber area. Of course we can never just go to one place so went to Aldi and another grocery store after that.

I think a lot of the problem with imports to the US is related to the new regulations Trump & co put into effect on August 23, packages that have a value of less than $800 and are not business to business shipments.

As far as I understand it, the US removed an import code set that had been used without replacing it with a new one. The requirement for advance collection of import fees can be very problematic when returning packages, as to who covers what, etc.

I haven't studied the details, but I know that the Norwegian post office doesn't ship to the US right now, that's about 130k packages annually.
I think there are about 25 other countries too.

I have 2 new in box with extra tank, coil, etc included. Also 2 previously used (will get ultrasonic bath before shipping) in nice shape with the usual slight discoloration of the bottom tank gasket. $35 for a brand new, never used. $20 for a used. You pay for your choice of tracked shipping.

I have not been to the dollar store in a good while. I went in there to get a birthday gift bag and came out with $30. They put price checkers in the store. That just does not seem right. I hated it when they started offering different-priced items. Takes all the fun out of it. Oh well, I still have fun.

Woke up to 63 degrees this morning and it's 74 now so it's a great day to clean up the garden. I did do some the other day and then got a row of radishes planted but today I also planted some bush beans and cukes and put 3 amaryllis bulbs to bed in some peat moss. Then I decided to dump one of the 5 grow bags of potatoes and surprise! There were actually potatoes in there! The deer ate the potato plants, but some of the stripped stems had some sprouts on them so I wasn't sure if I should dump them yet. I'll have the boys over to dump the other bags soon. Then I changed the bed sheets and ran the vacuum downstairs, but that's not as much fun as playing in the garden.

@Uncle Willie Our hummingbirds have been hitting the feeders hard too. I keep telling them there's 2 feeders so no need to chase each other away! They sure are territorial.


Nothing planned for this weekend, but we usually get a call from our son to come over for some smoked something or other. We'll decide what we're doing when we wake up in the morning. These days I do much better with spontaneous plans. Whatever we decide to do it looks like we're going to have lovely weather to do it! Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day weekend.

I do not know how to us the tc-tcr mode on this device, if it can be used with the coils I am using or not.

They have always come from China but that may change.

I know that one, think you got off easy though. End of last year I was "persuaded" to replace all the deck boards and steps because the color was getting uneven. I built the deck myself but this time I hired someone who had done the same job on a neighbor's deck. I'm getting a bit old for that kind of work. But now the boards are ready for their first staining and I still haven't got around to doing it.

I do have some Aegis mods but I never used less than 0.7 so I can't answer that question, Sounds logical though. Mods don't have a huge amount of computing power on board so it wouldn't be surprising if they use one error message for low and zero resistance. Even if there was an actual short like a coil leg touching the deck it wouldn't be zero resistance, just very low.
