Good evening random folks. I'm in Fatima, Portugal. We stopped at a town with a historic church with a Eucharistic miracle, had Mass there and then went on to Fatima. In the garden of the historic church there was a beautiful bird of paradise plant blooming in the garden. I took a picture of it but it didn't come out very good. We toured the shrines and basilica of Fatima and tomorrow we'll have Mass here. This is a picture of the solid gold crown atop the shrine. It has 150 pounds of gold in it, all financed through pilgrim donations. There are millions of pilgrims from all over the world that come here.

Made some progress with my bee problem. Did a bit of free consultation on Next Door then continued on Google. Seems they are yellow jackets. They are the only species that will colonise mole tunnels. They survived the spray I dumped on them last night so I ordered a few cans of stuff that is designed for yellow jackets.
