Boro Mod's, Tanks, Attys And More

Thanks you guys, answered all my questions and then some!

So I recently got my 2nd ever Boro mod, and it’s the Rift DNA60C. After using it for just a couple days- I can see the appeal of ones like crss has with the built-in LiPo. I WON’T get another 18650 mod unless it’s like my Cthulhu AIO with the magnetic cover and the battery that just pushes in and pull it right out.

What's wrong with the Rift? Does it have problems keeping contact with the battery or is it some other issue? I was looking at getting one too, and if they are closing down it looks like I had better make up my mind one way or the other so any unbiased input is appreciated

Good evening. Work was ok. Still busy. The screws I ordered for my daughter’s cabinet are taking the scenic route. They were at my USPS sorting center yesterday and have gone hundreds of miles away.
Good evening.hitt.:) Glad work was ok. Hopefully those screws find the right way soon.

Newly built, bought two bell caps for 22mm, probably not a fan of PEI, think it will fit best with clear bell and the original high noon drip tip, that will be my next kayfun purchase. Also invested in deck upgrades, now they all have the same type of deck and airpin.
Found out it was a good day to start with Diplomat again, in vape smoothness I prefer it over Kayfun, really good atty in mtl.

Hi, Fran and everybody :) , hoping all is well!

Not much happening around here right now.
I saw a little buzz elsewhere about a lemon cookie mix,

I think a couple of folks here enjoy that type of profile. I don't have the SSA Lemon Wafer - it is a different flavor than the Chemnovatic one from what I've heard. I do have some of the CNV so could maybe try it as a sub until I get the SSA.

I went on a little vanilla custard tear again - I've done five testers this week, though three are slightly different takes on one mix idea.
Hi there, gloop. :) All is well here and I hope there also.

Hope you like that mix.

You mentioned that your bottles didn't show steep time or dilution percentage. Are those things you previously saw on bottles you bought elsewhere? Don't think I ever saw steep time on a bottle, and I'm not sure what you mean by dilution percentage. Do you suspect the seller is buying flavors from the maker and diluting them with PG before selling them to you?

Unfortunately, I am currently at my beach house and therefore do not have any old bottles
of flavorings (including the original 15ml glass bottles from TPA)
to check whether the dilution and steeping data are listed.

By dilution percentage, I mean
the percentage of flavoring relative to the total liquid.
For example, for TFA absinthe on some items
(such as the one I am linking to), the recommendation is:
Absinthe Flavor Concentrate 5%-10%
Although others recommend 0.5% to 2% when mixed,
and 4% when used alone

A decent but cheapish single 18650 regulated mod? 21700 mod?

Wound up getting a drag X kit and an ijoy saber. They’re full kits, and come with a cartridge tank, which I will not use, but they were on clearance at wetvapes and the two together were still cheaper than the next most expensive one i could find. I even got a decent if not great top fill rta too. I am in love with the clearance section there. I nearly picked up some clearance disposables as at that price (a whole dollar! /s) they were still cheaper than i can mix DIY. They had nic though and I don’t do nic anymore.

I am pleased and reassured to hear
that the retailer is very reputable and that you have already purchased products from them in the past.
My doubts also stem from the fact that I vaped for 8-9 years from 2012 until the Covid-19 pandemic, only to then foolishly return to smoking shredded tobacco.
Until then, I used to buy 1 liter of 50%50 at 18mg/ml
of nicotine and 1 liter at 0 and mix it to vape at 9mg/ml of nicotine.
When I returned to vaping five months ago (finally and hopefully for good),
I found that everything had changed here in Italy, not only the laws, but also the way of vaping, with the habit of regenerating almost completely abandoned by most people. I also found the forums empty of people and changed, everyone afraid of losing their website and therefore perhaps their life's work.
I was asked to avoid talking about unlabeled flavors and
not to mention the foreign websites that sold them (even though they were not committing any illegal acts).
At first, I felt angry and a little confused, but when I realized they were right, it was even worse.
There are some Italian vaping channels on YouTube that are at risk of closing and have already received a second warning.
When someone has to reread before publishing... it's time to leave.
Getting back to the topic of flavors, well, if Nom Nomz has a rating of 4.9
on Trustpilot...it's definitely a reliable retailer.
I can't wait to vape the liquids in steeping.

P.S.
At a later date, I will also ask for your opinion on certain aspects
regarding nicotine, a topic that is now taboo here in Italy!!

GeekVape Aegis Solo 3

The faux leather on my old original Solo's is starting to have those problems. It took years though so maybe the quality has gone down. Z80's have the same faux leather section and it has started to peel a lot quicker than my Solo's did. The shiny surface layer peels off but the stuff underneath seems quite resilient. And the painted part on the Solo's lost paint quite fast.

Like Tor said you could buy the frame pieces. Don't remember if they sold the leather inserts. It never bothered me enough to want to replace them. I know some people made their own inserts.

I've bought flavorings from places that rebottle. My guess is they make a profit by buying from the maker in large quantities, gallons or whatever, and selling in the small bottles that vapers are likely to prefer. If that's the case then relabeling is something they would have to do. Nothing wrong with that.

You mentioned that your bottles didn't show steep time or dilution percentage. Are those things you previously saw on bottles you bought elsewhere? Don't think I ever saw steep time on a bottle, and I'm not sure what you mean by dilution percentage. The only time I bought directly from a manufacturer was when my normal sellers stopped selling a TFA flavor I liked. TFA only sold it in 2 ounce bottles and it was expensive.

Honestly, what you described sounds pretty normal for the industry. Unless you find something wrong with flavorings, like weak taste from dilution, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
